+1 yThis doesn’t surprise me. The system is built more for a woman’s mind than a man’s. It was all “memorize” and test on what you’ve absorbed.
That was hard especially if a topic wasn’t of interest. I tended to have a more ‘in the moment’ logic way about me, and had to work harder in school myself.
I did have a handful of teachers who bent the criteria. Their classes were always popular and everyone did well, just due to the angle they taught them in, they made them interesting and interactive instead of ‘by the book’. It was more a guideline and fun activities to stem from it.21 Reply- +1 y

Time magazine.. "A study on gender disparities in elementary-school performance found that boys received lower grades than girls, even when their test scores were equal to or higher than the girls"
Another in the BBC..
Not only did boys get graded more harshly, they were disciplined more for the same behavior and.. the boys as young as 2nd grade. EXPECTED IT!
Let me say that again, not only did female teachers give the boys lower grades and punish them more, the boys were so used to it they expected it !!!30 Reply

The performance in school shows that there is a crisis among boys and men that is not being addressed due to feminist dogma. The school system is feminized as is modern “helicopter” parenting, does not have strict enough discipline for boys, does not allow enough time for rough and tumble play, etc. Women get preferential treatment through affirmative action for college admission and employment. What did we think would happen? The outcome is predictable.

statistically speaking, boys are both smarter and dumber than girls, resulting in the same average with a flatter bell curve. Boys used to score higher in virtually every field of study but as the feminist movements gained traction and universities began offering more and more "arts" degrees the educational climate for males has become increasingly hostile.

Women are treated unfairly in most Moslem countries. Men are not given a fair shake in most Western countries. I have never had a male teacher; their are none in our school and even the principal is female. Are they bias in favor of girls. Almost certainly they are as boys are expected to sit still, be quite, and act like little girls. In effect, public schools are a hostil enviournment for boys; and, since on average almost 60 percent of college students are female, likely that is true for most colleges.
There are times that I want the special treatment that girls are given. However, that is not good for our society. Since, I intend to attend and graduate from college, no doubt I will prefer to marry a college graduate but the numbers indicate that will not be easy.
Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yNot necessarily. School simply measures your ability to remember things when it’s necessary to pass. Throw a man in a field dominated by women, he may not excel in it cause he has no interest. Same if you were to throw a girl into a make dominated field like working on cars, brick layers, construction. Most men hate school. I know I did. My son, who is a 15 can fix a lot of things w his hands, very smart in terms of those things he likes but his grades are crap cause he isn’t into such topics. I was the same growing up but when I went into the medical field I had excellent grades because it was something I had a big interest in.

+1 yNot necessarily it just proves that the school system and the way of learning suits girls better. Like learning something without having to know why comes easier to girls plus guys are often better at sports and the breaks between lessons are often too short for boys to calm down and really re-focus.
So I wouldn´t say that women are better generally smarter.
Because boys have a way higher need for exercise that school often time doesn´t offer.20 Reply26.4K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I think it does. Girls are better suited for studying things out of a book and boys are better at spatial oriented activities like construction or mechanics. This is an over simplification but the brains of male and females are structured differently.

+1 yactually quite the opposite. this is a phenomenon known as "grade inflation" where teachers are naturally more critical of boys and give girls higher grades than they deserve
a man's grade underestimates his knowlege of a subject. a woman's grade is higher than her subject matter knowledge should be20 Reply 6.4K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. No, it shows that schools are designed to reward passivity and compliance rather than subject mastery. Men outscore women slightly on the SAT, more so on the math section than the verbal.

+1 yIt does not, it proves that girl apply themselves to their studies. There's also not a lot of trades that women go into. Welding, plumbing, carpentry

+1 yWhich also means girls are getting themselves into way more debt for degrees that really don’t pay that much in the long run. There’s a lot of sharp guys without a college degree making over a 100k a year running their own business or doing a trade.

40 Reply2.1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. School has nothing to do with intelligence. It measures compliance. Women are more compliant than men
20 Reply2.1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. No girls always try to be nice in formalism. I mean to be taught. so just as

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yPossibly in some respects. But there are different forms of intelligence. Men are better in some intellectual tasks, such as those required to play chess. That is why at high competitive levels, men and women are ranked separately, like in tennis.
10 ReplyYeah sure. I didn't even finish high school. Im in Europe, not usa. Also there is lots of female empowerment programs, not for males. Im gonna keep a simple life, women can do all the complex things in society in my opinion. I dont care about it.
