For some reason G@G keeps deleting my responses to the female anon user, but I wanted to expose the misconception of being "required" to be straight and Christian to work at CFA. There are plenty of LGBT workers both open and closeted at the restaurant even in the Bible Belt, and even some Muslims and Jews

With that being said however, a Muslim employee did sue CFA for discrimination at a specific franchise, though it had nothing to do with the company itself

Never worked there, but my boyfriend does as a part time second job.


He works in the military and is used to being screamed at, called names, and just treated like crap at work… So, when he joined the Chic-fil-a crew, he definitely was shocked at how friendly, welcoming, accepting, easy going, and just overall positive the environment is.


Since he’s in the military, he has a difficult schedule and sometimes is late or can’t come in, they are understanding and accommodate him. Not only did they accommodate his work schedule, they allowed him put in for 25 days of time off to go babysit his siblings while his parents are out of the country.


I’m not saying it to persuade anyone to work there, because that’s not my intention, I’m only saying my input. However, I’ve only had positive experiences when going there, and my boyfriend had a great experience working there. I like CFA.

Few things are as uncomfortable as having to lie about being LGBT and non Christian, in a company that requires you to be straight and Christian.
