I used to work in fastfood as my full-time job when i was younger. It made me understand a lot of things better and never be unhappy with the service i received. It has also made me cringe every time i see someone be unkind to a worker, and made me pretty annoyed when i go to the back of the store to see an employee crying.

I have- and having come to that job immediately after a time when I was literally surviving off of plasma donations, I was, and continue to be, absolutely disgusted by the amount of food people throw away. Humans are intelligent and adaptable; those are pretty much our defining traits, and with a little bit of resourcefulness, you'll never really stand a chance of losing in a struggle with a raccoon over food- but if you ever HAVE to, you'll never look kindly on people tossing stuff out again.
