Do you think surrogates get paid enough to carry people's babies in their womb?

I read somewhere some time ago that Kim K and Kanye West used to pay around 3K per month to their surrogates. I believe they would also pay for insurance and any other medical expenses but 3K per month seems so less to carry a child for nine months, go through all those changes and suffer during labor. What do you think? In my opinion at least 5k should be a fair price but that's just me.

Considering that Kim and Kayne are so freaking rich, you’d think that they’d pay their surrogate way more that. I feel like that’s a little unfair - the surrogate’s doing them a real service.

Women surrogate to give people the opportunity to have their own baby. It’s like charity I guess. It’s completely their choice to carry that child and they understand everything that comes with it.

3K is still a fair amount of money to earn, especially if all prenatal expenses are paid for. That amount of money would already be hard enough for people to pay, let alone more.

Surrogacy shouldn’t be about all making money. It’s takes too much physical and emotional investment for that. You truly have to do it out of your own heart.

I think they would pay a million a month if it was legal but your not allowed to profit from selling your womb in America.

I think your allowed to accept very low fees for surrogates that are enough to live on - but your not allowed a professional salary for doing it.

I’m not a pregnatable person, and I honestly don’t know the full extent of what pregnancy does to you, so I’m not sure if $3000 a month is good or not

I've seen them as low at 10k for the entire 9 months, so it is whatever they agree upon. Of course poor people won't ever have that open, even 3k a month is too much for them.
