If you mean political theatre, then yes. It presents only 1 side of the story, using edited footage and interviews. In case people aren't aware, THEY tried to remove livestream footage of the events as much as possible from Youtube and other sites before doing this to ensure that people will see and hear only what they want them to. How can that be anything other than theatre?

Why was no real investigation done on the death of Ashlee Babbit? Why won't the government release the hundreds of hours of video of the inside of the capitol? And finally, how does putting your feet up on Nancy Pelosi's desk an attack on Democracy?
The WH isn't responsible for security for the Capitol. The speaker and Sargeant at arms are. Trump actually suggested the get extra security and they did nothing. This will all come out next year when the Republicans bore us to death with their hearings.

Fox didn't just not show the hearing, they didn't have any commercial breaks, so that their viewers wouldn't be tempted to see a few seconds of truth. Wait. I'm talking about the US, here. Isn't it usually 30 minutes of adverts per hour? I remember a teletext (it was around 2000) page explainging how the late show (or whatever) was only 1 hour in Europe instead of 2 in the US because they'd cut a couple of minutes and shown the most adverts they legally could.

Listen to trial it's just a hearing. Whether they say it's Trump's fault or not makes absolutely no difference from a legal standpoint that I can ascertain. However, I'm not a lawyer, so maybe it does make a difference I'm not sure.
