Do you think Indians are still discriminated Europe? I would like to know what you think about india?

Yes, to some amount.

First of all, while Europe does not have extreme levels of racism, it's still a predominantly white area of the world with a nasty history. "Brown" people are still seen as the exception, different from the rest of the population. It's a sad state, but it's still the case.

Only bigger cities with a history of migration, like London, Paris, or Berlin, are better. On the other hand, eastern Europe and more peripheral regions still have a lot of racists. England in general has a large population of people originally from India.

People from India are not especially targeted compared to other groups. But they suffer a specific form of discrimination in some workplaces, because of the large influx of well-educated (with university degrees and professional preparation) migrants from India in the last decade. Some are afraid that this is driving salaries down and lowering the standards. Some recruiters will reject Indian people only based on nationality—even though this is illegal all across Europe. I don't think this makes any sense other than as a form of racism.

Oh, and everybody loves Indian food! Or... so they say. What they actually like are the mild imitations that are adapted to the Western taste.

I have not heard of anything about Indian people being discriminated towards in Europe. I have no personal experience, but do know some that live and visit there. Never once have they said anything to me to indicate this is true.

Now, discrimination exists everywhere to a degree and I am sure it has happened. The question will be is it prevalent to the point of being an issue for the average traveler. To that, I would say no just based on what I hear.

My fiancé and I will honeymoon in Europe next year (Greece) so until then, I can only rely on what others that have visited or stayed for extended times have said to me. In general, European people seem to be friendly and accepting.

Of course, as I mentioned, you will always find some people no matter where you go that are going to not like a particular person because of where they come from. That is just life.

I can say they are treated pretty well in the US. 2nd generations are treated like everyone else and the immigrants are like the upper class of immigrants. they are the "yeah but" when amyone has anythimg good to say about immigrants.
