I did know about this.

I am not loyal to political parties. I read as much information as is available and decide what's credible. From that, I form opinions that can modify or change as more information becomes available.

I find that the majority of people get their information from mainstream media broadcasters and publications. Msm is designed to frame opinions and not to inform the public. So people who consume it are not only uninformed but brainwashed. The same goes for people who believe politicians.

The amount of information that is withheld by msm is astounding. So I'm not surprised if many people didn't know about the issue you mentioned, Juxtapose. Democratic voters, in particular, are in denial about the reality of their party.
