How about fighting to mandate that 50% of the corporate boards in large companies be comprised of workers?

How about mandating that 50% of large companies’ outstanding stock must be distributed to workers?

How about enforcing anti-trust laws?

How about raising the minimum wage to at least $25 an hour?

How about passing Medicare for All so that workers cannot be held prisoners by their employers?

How about requiring all large companies to institute an annual mandatory cost-of-living increase

I haven't kept up with the details. I support his right to do so, no complains, he may be right in at least some regards and he said long ago "pay them more"... he was speaking to companies in general... why? Because the govt is inflating the crap out of everything and been stealing their $ since OBama was bailing out the banks and the $ needs to trickle down. Execs are a bunch of selfish #$@#$ as are their boards and their stock owners are selfish pricks that have never read a prospectus... so they pay themselves well and they are over paid.

So he's somewhat right.

But then again Honda and Toyota don't have this problem. And china don't give a crap while they run cheap coal plants with low standards and will run these thugs out of business. I can't stand unions to be honest, they stand up to the execs (that's good) but they are a poison pill that means the public will end up bailing out these failed companies again... do you remember Delphi... gone... GM? bailed out. They don't let them fail and the execs lose everything... that's a problem. Unions protect workers way way too much. if someone is fat, lazy, doesn't do a good job, doesn't put in the extra time required... and those are the decent ones... then you gotta have power to discipline.

and that is the problem with unions. if you don't believe me, look at the photos of all those union workers. horrific! fat slobs... no offense. compare that to anywhere else like china or japan... americans are awful.

All those things would require an act of Congress. And where do you imagine that 50% of outstanding stock would come from? Much or most of the stock of any company is held by pension funds, mutual funds, and individual saving for their retirement. Are you just going to steal half of everyone's retirement?

How about Biden brings back manufacturers jobs to the US and get rid of the illegal immigrants that drive wages down. Used to be that when you immigrated to America you had to prove you weren't screwing a us citizen over by under cutting his livelihood.

Forget all that socialist nonsense. Once upon a time a us citizen could get a basic job could support a family, two cars in the drive, pay medical bills, pay a pension, a kid could pay for college working a summer& weekend job flipping burgers. This could be done because companies needed workers and weren't able to fill roles with cheap foreign labor and us companies had jobs in the us.
