I was in high school, maybe 15. I know I was not reading comic books when I was driving because you could not buy them in the town where I lived so I used to have to ride my bike into the next town which was about ten miles.

I never really started. In the early `70's I got a little bit into the underground comics: Cheech Wizard, The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers, some of the stuff R. Crumb was putting out, and the first 25 issues of Mad magazine.

i stop reading when they become "woke trash" or I hate the storyline. That's all. There's no reason to stop reading something if you enjoy it. And these days, you're a lot less likely to get crapped on by your friends for reading them.
