Let's be honest, the vast majority of evil career politicians and billionaire elites we have around the world today causing just about all of the world's problems we have now are often of Boomer and Silent Gen age, like Mitch McConnell, Mitt Romney, Nancy Pelosi, George Soros, Anthony Fauci, and Bill Gates. I agree with that, yeah. As bad as our elders are, I really don't understand how and why people keep falling for the same stupid lines.

And many times, it's people who really ought to know better. I think that's where people really start to frustrate me. I was talking to a person who had just gotten done writing his Masters thesis on the Trump-Ukraine federal aid thing. And he did this whole analysis on why orange man bad and why impeach because fruit (oranges specifically) doesn't make good political leadership.

He was very proud of finishing his thesis (as he should have been) but the entire thing is based on a fundamentally false assumption. No one in the know, not even the Ukrainian government, thinks Trump withheld aid. So this educated dumbass ignores reality, types up a dissertation based on false premises, and then gets rewarded for his scholarly contribution to the Charmin product line.

Those younger generations don't hold senior positions within business or government. They're also the demographic with the least money to spend and the lowest voter turnout, meaning that those business leaders and politicians are not interested in what they think.

i think it's a generational thing, yeah young people are the ones supposedly trying to fix things now but i'm sure in 20 years or so, we'll be the ones who probably messed up - it's happened before, the 50s were supposedly the golden age and 60s was the fight for equality (mostly dominated by youth movements) but then by the 80's/90's conservatism became the leading political thinking

Boomers and Gen X are the ones running the country and its laws. Ages 40+

Millenials run the tech industry and have young families. The 27-39 year old workforce.

Gen Z are middle schoolers to college students who influence (but dont manage) today's entertainment industry.

Not sure what you mean by Silent Generation, but moving on. Boomers had it all, used it up and stole the rest. Every generation since then has been progressively boned. Well the Boomers are going away now and change is coming. Subsequent generations need to make better choices.
