Popular jock guy interested in art nerd girl?

Guys honestly, if you're the popular jock in high school would you ever think you'd be interested in the quiet shy girl that has a 'good girl' rep, that's kind of a art nerd? Who is also younger then you.

Yep, happened to me. I'm dating the quarterback, and I have no idea how it happened. I'm more of a music nerd than an art nerd though, but I've got the whole "good girl" rep, and he's almost a year older than me. But, I don't think it's common for it to happen. And it kind of sucks, I have a lot of girls who don't like me now because they're jealous, and they're rude and talk about me so that I can hear them, I've even had water balloons thrown at me lol.

But it definitely happens. I don't think it's common though. But there's always a chance.

What? Life's not like those high school movies where the insanely popular and/or ripped guy falls for the nerdy girl. I'm not saying it's impossible but you gotta get over those movies. Just go up there and talk to him. Strike up a convo, and see if he's half decent or not. Try to get to know him before fantasizing about a possible chick flick romance and calculating the possibilities. Before you do that, we can't help you.

Absolutely, even nerds deserve a chance. And i, even though I'm not in art, don't think art is nerdy. And yeah, so what if she's nerdy? Nerdy doesn't mean ugly, if she's pretty and seems genuinly nice, I'd definitely ask her out.
