I think if he and I had a closed door conversation today, he would absolutely claim that he plans to run again. There's also at least a few favored Republican candidates such as Ron DeSantis who have openly stated that they will not run if Trump is in the primary. There are also some strategic reasons why the Republicans would want to elect him with a 4-year cap in order to basically be the scapegoat for some radical policy changes that would need to happen in order to get the country back on track and make way for another, probably more conservative figure for the next 8 years. As a generally reactionary party however, I doubt that's seriously being talked about.
That said, I have a lot of reservations about Trump round 2. The immediately obvious concern is that he's getting old, and was the oldest elected president at the time of his first inauguration before Biden took office. Sure he's far more energetic and alert than Biden, but you can clearly see in his recent interviews that he's noticeably less energetic than he was in 2016-2019.
The other problem is that he appears to have learned absolutely nothing from one of his biggest flounders in office, which was the people he surrounded himself with: he still endorses people who are clearly not on the same page, but flatter him. Because he's not willing to play ball in the same circles of corruption as the party elite and some are also afraid to stick their neck out for anything, he would have to have a decisive, unrealistic majority in both the house and Senate to make a lasting impact. In his first term, virtually everything Trump did had to be passed by executive order, and as a result almost his entire presidency other than appointed judges were erased by the stroke of a puppet with a pen no more than a week after he left. That's partly a referendum on the Republican party as a whole, but it's still a factor to consider as far as managing expectations. I don't really see a realistic scenario in which his hypothetical second term is seen as anything more optimistic than slamming the brakes on Biden's far-left globalist agenda, because even a meaningful reversal seems unlikely.
He'll lose again. The right had the edge before when they came out with the rekt feminism video in 2015 and the novelty of that wore off after people started to realize that those cultural Marxist conspiracy theories and alt right were full of shit and just fear mongering and making up lies to get money and didn't actually believed in anything they said.
The same old "leftist trying to turn America into a communist country" conspiracies everyone know it's bullshit. People got smarter and won't vote for Trump again.
Now it's only right wing whack jobs and retarded people that don't read scholarly journals and only read magazines that they see online that vote for Trump.
More people are waking up to how corrupt and sick in the head democrats and liberals are. Get ready to be calling Trump your 47th president because he will be running and he will win. Even in the event he doesn't, he will most certainly be helping Desantis in his presidential bid. Cry harder, your tears will be extra delicious this time around.
@SlightlyEccentric I am not even democrat. But all the democrats try to do is keep people like you on your medication and safe. I don't understand why are you so mad at the people trying to help you so you don't become "Payton Gendron" it makes no sense. I don't like the two party system.
The most dangerous words ever spoken in history: "I'm from the government and I'm here to help."
No one from the government, especially not liberals, are ever helping. They only make things worse the more power they give themselves. No amount of apologist bullshit that spews out of your mouth is gonna change my mind. Your pathetic attempts at damage control are just that: pathetic. Trump was cheated out of 2020 by the liberal and RINO rats that infest our capital. They had their power threatened by Trump who sought to get rid of the career politicians who have done nothing but make millions through backdoor deals, corruption and doing nothing more than making noise in an attempt to curie favor from neckties around the world.
They're only in it for themselves and do nothing to really "help" the people they're supposed to represent.
Damn that’s the truth if I’ve ever seen it.
@slightlyeccentric actually you are right. But is Trump the answer for everything I don't know.
@slightlyeccentric I am not going to lie but the right wing taught me everything I know about money how to not be dependent on government. It's the only reason I have money. The crappy public schools democrats was absolutely useless. The right wingers and racist people showed me economics and how to not depend on a corporation sending me a check. It is why I did so well in college and am independently wealthy.
You can’t be that educated if you misuse the word wealthy LOL.
@ChefPapiChulo I had poor education. I learned everything on my own
And I am more of a math science guy. shakespeare and all that shit I don't understand it.
I prefer that he just scores a congressional seat this fall. Then if the Republicans take the house and the senate, Trump can be speaker of the house. Then Nancy will have to hand him the gavel. Then they can deem Biden unfit for duty and have him removed from office. Then they can just say Kamala has failed on the border and cannot stop the invasion. So now she needs to be impeached. Trump is now the president United States we didn't have to wait.
Not a chance. The facts prove he has NEVER won an election and NEVER will.

I am not certain he will run. He's getting older and carries a lot of baggage. His ideas are good but it may be time to pass the MAGA baton to younger blood. Democrats have nothing remotely equal to the Republicans' bench. If he doesn't actually run, he will be "consulting" and serving as a king maker.
I hope that neither Trump nor Buden run in 2024. New blood and ideas are needed, not old guys who deserve their retirement.
I doubt it. The Jan. 6th capital attack and the commission reports of it have seriously hurt him and he knows it.
Trump's base is very strong but Trump won't be able convince enough independents to vote for him this time around like in 2016 to carry him to the White House.
Keep focusing on the President... Heh dummy look over there...
https://www.youtube.com/embed/A1n1A_JOXI4He is having rallies and is keeping a pretty high profile. He has shown to still be the leader of the Republican Party and I think he will get the nomination if he wants it.
Hopefully he will be in federal prison for sedition.
Remember when liberals swarmed the capitol building and tried to disrupt a congressional hearing but no one called it an attack on democracy or called for a committee to investigate it? Happened during the Kavanaugh confirmation hearing. Of course the cunts in the mainstream media were cheering them on.
He's going the way of Epstein. It' s just a matter of time.
6 million more voted against him in 2020. All you can hope for is less turnout for Dems. The only reason midterms swing right wing.
I would probably prefer someone else but I think there's a chance
It's possible but I hope he doesn't.
November isn't looking good for demon-rats hya hya
Yes 🥳🎉
