You can find interest groups and discussion areas. For example, if you read a book you really liked you can discuss it with others, find recommendations etc.
Reading is also more accessible. Audiobooks can be found for free on YouTube or with public libraries sponsored by Overdrive or Hoopla. Same story with ebooks. The Kindle, Nook, and Google store also make reading accessible even on the go and without wifi.

I don't regret being part of the internet age save for one huge thing. . . The disregard and inability to have privacy. Free Edward Snowden.
These are opportunities mostly. What are the ''traits'' involved? :)
I’m Gen Z, I’ve only ever known life with technology. The positive is it opens so many great doors and opportunities, allows you to connect with people across the globe. It was a life saver during the pandemic, I was able to continue my education during lockdown over zoom.
Another cool thing is that when I was 6 I used to play these online games called club penguin and moshi monsters, made some friends on there who were also 6 and 7 years old. Still friends with them today.
They haven't (yet) seen shit like we advanced ones have.
I often notice that younger people have more faith in the (near) future, are more optimistic.
Although: that would count for ANY young generation at ANY time in ''history''?
The influence of ''technology''... typing letters with just one thumb?
We will see shit soon enough.
@Whatthefluff I'm sure that you will. Like all we others before :)
Long time, no see. How's everything been with you?
At any rate, the only good thing I can think of is that they have little to no memory of the world before social media and smartphones, so the memory of the transition to the world we have now isn't as painful.
Neat. How'd it go?

Can not think for themselves outside of computer prompting. Attention span less, impatience higher, and one-one relationship skill set is lower than other generations. They are more disconnected to the actualities that function in the greater world outside the idiot boxes 📺 l 💻
I do not think there are any. They cannot do simple math problems without a calculator. They cannot form a cohesive sentenced because all they do is text. They believe everything they see on the internet and are detached from a big part of reality.
#1: They can have access to immediate information.
#2: They can enjoy the best of technology advances.
Well hopefully it allows them to speed up medical advances with all this technology
Welcome they'll never have to deal with a sore back since none of them can do an honest day's actual work.
I'm of that generation I have a messed up back, knee and neck and even then I can still do physically labour
Well, they know how to bang their way through dating apps like pros.
They are exposed to taboo stuff from a young age. Which means they are more likely to build robust personalities.
They’re better with technology than older people. That’s about it
…a high influence of tehcnology.
