Are gen z's as bad as people say or do you think every generation really has its bad and good?

I've been at my job for years now. We've never had a gen z last longer than 3 weeks. Never. They always do one of these

Quit without warning.
Leave early.
Show up late.
Show up out of uniform.
Get belligerent with clients.
Demand raises within their first week.
Smoke weed or drink on shift.
Etc.

Yeap. They are the shittiest workers we've had. I'm almost going to stop hiring them entirely once the owner gives me the green light.

No, they aren’t. As a Gen Z high school student, I’ve worked my ass off, and so have many other people I know. Some have their own businesses, some do freelancing, some work at a company and some even work two jobs. Every generation has lazy people, and that’s usually because of how they were raised. Anyway, when I was working in retail, it was often the older generations who were doing absolutely nothing. So to say a whole generation is “lazy” is crazy to me.

I am not a Gen z I am a millennial, but I agree with you. And look at the most drug filled and lazy generation happened to be born in the 1950s. Thus Woodstock was born.

This is actually a good thing, if no one takes those jobs, employers are forced to raise wages, plus that generation is supported by their parents, so they don't need to work.

That's something I didn't consider. The 2nd part. The first part I am aware of.

But is it fair to judge all of them like that or even have that preconceived notion? Like I've seen older people entitled too. Hence you see all these Karens. And look at Woodstock that happened in the 60s.

Yeah I agree. Where they live they might not pay enough in their company and probably not many people wanna work there so they might just take what they can get mentality.
