@brandisomo96 but abortions are performed on animals. Some animals, apes included, abort their own pregnancies. Only difference is that when a vet performs it the animal isn't the one choosing.
Also, very first amendment is freedom of religion. Those same Christian morals being forced upon people now is infringing on the rights of other religions such as the Jewish faith.
All this is doing is putting certain people's morals above the rest of the nation.

The overturning of Roe has absolutely zero to do with religion anyway. The reason SCOTUS overturned it was because they believe it isn't up to the federal government to decide for the states on the topic.

I think anyone who looks at the US these days will say that it is not governed by Christian values any longer. But for you to want to completely ignore the values this nation was founded on is naive.
And the very conversation of abortion has absolutely nothing to do with men or women, but it has to do with life itself. And besides that, you're right. I don't understand women. And I probably never will, because you guys are so complicated.
And what more is there to understand about abortion other than not having sex? Obviously there are the instances of rape and whatnot, but the vast majority of abortions take place due to unwanted pregnancy. So the easy solution is don't have sex if you don't want to be pregnant. There is nothing completely about that, people just don't want to stop indulging their flesh.

That is the 1st amendment. Religion was never meant to have a place in government, yet many conservatives keep trying to put it there. It's interesting how other countries, some of which also have a Christian upbringing, are supporting a woman's right to safe abortions, yet "the land of the free" has a big problem with it. It's interesting how conservatives will fight tooth and nail against being forced to take a vaccine they don't want, to wear masks they don't want, nor to give up any right against their guns (meaning they all are fighting to choose) yet this one in particular what was ruled in favor of 50 years ago is something they can't let go of.
Rest assured that, feelings and morals set aside, abortions will not stop; they will simply be done either unsafe or just elsewhere.
The very fact that your only argument about this has to do with religion shows the ignorance on the topic. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH RELIGION. The land of the free just recognizes the reality of life in the womb.
And there is no such thing as safe abortion because a life is destroyed in the process.

And since you brought up those abortion pills, let's talk about those for a sec. Have you ever read up on the stories of the repercussions women deal with due to taking those pills? Lack of being able to interfere/criminalize them does not change the reality of how dangerous they are, both the mother and the child in the womb.

The moment that living being is conceived within the body of a woman, the woman is responsible for that life. Which means that it is no longer her body only, but also the living being's place of nurturing and inhabitation. If you're having sex and you get pregnant, you've already given up your rights to your body. Same for the man involved in the situation. So again, "my body my choice" is already flushed down the toilet.
If you want to continue in the mindset that it's ok to murder innocent children in the womb, then by all means go right ahead. But stop trying to force your abortion religion down the throats of everyone else who doesn't agree 🤷♂️ And it's not just religious people who are fighting against abortion. I know quite a few who are in the fight that don't have anything to do with any kind of religious system
The only once doing any forcing is the pro life movement. The pro choice camp don’t give a damn what you think. Don’t like abortion? Fine then just don’t like it. But you’ll never stop those who need one from getting one.
How are pro-lifers forcing? Last time I checked, it's the pro-abortion and pro-choice crowd that's vandalizing all of the pregnancy resource centers around the country that actually provide help for pregnant women in need, not the pro-lifers who actively help at these centers.
And once again you have entirely avoided the root of the conversation by pointing blame. Until you can provide substantial facts as to why abortions are necessary and why they are not murder, you have no grounds to stand on at all.

Up to 15 weeks I will not agree with you. Past 15 weeks, I'm all for the baby UNLESS a medical professional deems it unsafe for the mother at which point the mother takes precedence. Should the FETUS be able to survive an early termination, save the baby; if not, mother still takes precedence.
