Why do so many woman want to control men?

Women will twist this behavior and try to make it out to be the man's problem. But in reality she just HASN'T ACCEPTED he's his own person. And while he loves her, he'll ALWAYS be his own person. Why do so many women fight this REALITY? I mean as a guy there's been many a times where I said " why doesn't she just do this" to myself. I get it! It's frustrating! But at the end you have to accept she's her own person, with her own thoughts and motivations. And if it happens too much that maybe you're just not right for eachother. Why do so many try to force the issue?
