I think most charities are scams. The administrators get big salaries and most of the money that is donated gets spent on lavish lifestyles for them. As a result do not give to any of them.

There are watchdogs that measure charitable giving. Ironically the charities admin’d by the UN are the most productive around the world. WHO, WFP…. etc

I do not like donating to people that call me on the phone. That includes special interest groups, please order groups. Lastly political parties. I have a phone blocker and it is fun to play with people on it with it.
