Going to a homeless shelter in a different state?

This may be a dumb question but I’m just asking if anyone on here has ever went to a homeless shelter that wasn’t in the state your actually from? Due to hardships I am homeless and I hate the state I’m in and honestly thinking of going to a shelter in Ohio, does anyone have any tips or anything before I make the huge jump? I’m paranoid when I get there they will deny me and I’ll be stuck

I suggest you contact homeless shelters in the city you are returning too.
