What happens if the GOP gains the presidency, house and senate in 2022/24?

Ok so I’m an observer from Australia and seeing the s*** show currently happening in America is really making me worry what will happen if the GOP gains total power in 2024. Will Abortion be federally banned? Will lgbt rights be thrown down the toilet? Will contraceptives be banned, will gay marriage be overturned? Will the separation of church and state be demolished etc.

Is there hope? Or is America on a down ward spiral to a fascist Christian theocracy?

Very very possible. I think the missing step in this fascism Christian faction is a dooms day date and time. The meme has been "2 more weeks 2 more weeks". For awhile now.

So all the fascinates are playing there cards faster then they should to take over assuming the end of the world is now. If it dosen't they will do it themselves with climate change.

Maybe they played there hand too soon and get there teeth kicked in before any real damage happens. And shit gets better after. Maybe they push the table over creating the end of the world like they wanted.

I think the two party system in this country is ridiculous and causing much more harm than good. So with one party in power it is more akin to the enemy’s of old than an America that I believe in. It would be like the communist party of China but with different ideals, all the power and no real checks other than civil unrest and politicians consciences, and I don’t think I trust most politicians judgement whether they are Republican or Democrat.
