Have you watched The Janes on HBO Max?

Yes, I watched it. (Warning: spoiler alert for anyone who still has yet to see it). I thought some of the historical facts of that time were interesting. Like the fact that most doctors wouldn't prescribe a diaphragm or birth control pills to unmarried women. There was no law to prevent pregnant women from getting fired from a job. The fact that a hospital in Chicago, (perhaps several of them) had a "septic abortion" wing from all the unsafe abortions that were either self-induced or took place by crooked entities providing the service illegally. Also, the huge legal risk that these women took to try to save other women from dangerous abortions that were happening all around the city at the time. It was very eye opening.
Oh, thanks for the recommendation. I'll have to watch that.
I know on TikTok there's a trend for Canadians to offer things like camping or hiking trips to American women seeking medical asylum.
Offers to take you to "camping" up here, then rest a few days with some Canadian sisters before you head back to the backwater fascist state of the USA.
I haven't yet but most likely will. The problem with documentaries are they are basically preaching to the choir. Pro choicers will be 95% of the viewers. 5% will be pro lifers and only watch to give themselves fuel for their fire. .00001% will have no opinion either way. So no matter how good or how many valid points are made in any documentary very few will go in to it to watch it objectively.
I think Women need abortion. The ones that get it are poor women from the ghettos. The women that we don't want reproducing. We don't need anymore people like that so they should get abortions and let the middle class and upper middle class reproduce.

Won't get mad regardless. That aside, I don't watch Marxist crap like this. Although by default I am partly pro-choice, there is nothing heroic about ending unborn life.
There is nothing heroic about pretending to care about unborn children.
@RolandCuthbert: Who is your response for? If it is for me, standing by to shred you apart.
Dude, you are an anonymous troll. You are a coward, you are a liar.
You ain't gonna "shred" no one. Who the fuck goes around calling themselves "Zeus"?
Not an anonymous troll at all. I don't hide my name like many do. Additionally, I didn't pick my pseudo. It was made up on another social media site, so I stuck with it for continuity.
As per usual on GAG, a lot of tough talk, but no follow through. I even gave you an opportunity to clarify who you directed your comment at, as it was ambiguous. That said, typical profane-laced response from yet another mentally shaken user. Quite sad how so many of you are triggered with the simplest of responses.
You should try engaging in civic dialogue. It will go a long way. Because the reality is, you, like so many others on here, are the weak sheeple waiting to be slaughtered by the wolves. But you don't even realize it.
Stay weak. Stay consumed. Stay afraid. And when the wolves come to feast upon you, know that this sheepdog won't be coming to help. You did it to yourself. Hopefully it isn't too late for you to think for yourself and you can tune out the propaganda.
I haven't but I'm well aware that that happened. I'm sure it will happen again as bans continue to be passed.
So basically its a show about child murdering serial killers
Sounds like shit. Let me guess the antagonist is a white man!
Sounds interesting. Is it a documentary?
