Hypothetically, if America is Divided into two parts, which one will the Independent choose?

I don’t really fuck with politics, I’m registered as an independent for when my lady harassed me to vote, lmao. I would definitely go with the left if we’re talking about living. I don’t like to say anything too hateful on here, but let’s just say I find the social ideals of many conservatives and just the general declared social ideals of their party (or more so “the quiet part they don’t say out loud”…. or actually, many DO say it out loud now, haha) I find to be…errr…unpalatable😬 I would have a very difficult time living in a culture that was dominated by that.

There could end up being three. The Bible Belt (where I live), Coastal and Midwest elites and the West, not including Washington, California and Oregon. I'll stay here. It will become the stump USA. Coastal and Midwest will become like the Soviet Union and the West will be a primarily agricultural nation, like Canada that may become absorbed by the Bible Belt when it asks.

It’s going to depend on their values. It would be interesting to see how we actually divided. I don’t think two parts is adequate. I’m thinking at least three; one for the extreme left, one for the extreme right, and one for the moderates.

The only realistic way to divide it is geographically. It would be impossible to divide it by political or social views.

People talk about blue states and red states. But there are not many states that have more than about a 60:40 split.

Most people who claim to be "independent" are just right-wingers who don't like religion. They will still agree with 95% of everything the Republicans do. So yeah, the division is pretty simple.
