Joe will never, ever take even indirect responsibility for a problem. He hasn't done that in 50 years of being a swamp creature, and it's certainly not going to start now when he can't even make it through the doorway with a flash card or an earpiece.

In regards to oil prices, it's not untrue that the war is a contributing factor, and therefore it's not entirely wrong to point to it as a* reason, but it certainly isn't the only reason, especially in a market that is heavily influenced by speculation. His own staffers bragging about how it's actually a good thing in the name of their fake green agenda also creates very poor optics, and there's very little incentive for oil companies to invest in more production when the administration is claiming they'll be forced to shut it all down in a decade or so.

Gas prices are high worldwide because oil prices are high. This is at least partially a result of the war in Ukraine. When oil is expensive, everything else becomes more expensive due to increased costs of manufacture and transport.
