The thing is, this is a standard weekend. Folks keep saying we should not let this become normalized. But it has.

We have just become an insanely violent society. You can't go anywhere anymore. Not to a parade, to a concert, to a club, etc. because you are always afraid that someone will pull a gun and start shooting.

That nobody seems to care that more young Americans are shot every year in Chicago than all victims of all mass shootings in all of American history, combined! That between sundown on Friday to sunrise on Monday, the city of Chicago is one of the deadliest places on Earth! And you can’t just cop-out and blame guns! Chicago has some of the strictest gun laws in America. Also, there are more gun’s in Vermont, yet Vermont has almost no gun restrictions, and it’s one of the safest states in the union! Something is going on in Chicago, and until they figure THAT out… nothing will change! Certainly not more gun laws, the only people affected by gun laws, are law abiding citizens. Criminals, by definition commit crime, including gun crime. No one yet has come forward and admitted to wanting to shoot a bunch of people, but they didn’t want to break any laws, so they changed their mind!

Like they don't still have access to illegal guns and ammunition from just over the border or from burglaries.
