I think you're forgetting a key part of what made Nazis Nazis - they weren't just about the Aryan racial identity.

They were about the superiority of their race and the subservience of others. Which is kind of strange given Adolf Hitler was not the picture of the perfect Aryan man himself - dark hair and dark eyes.

There's having pride in your culture and heritage, but where it crosses the line into racism and Nazi-like stuff is when you try to say your culture or race is above others.

Celebrating culture and being proud of your roots is fine, though.

I think there's a confusion where some people think there's no such thing as different races, only the human race. That's correct, however there is such a thing as different ethnicities and that basically encompasses everything that we incorrectly describe as different races. However, most people just say race rather than ethnicity and people just know what they mean.

I do think that people who focus too much on their own ethnicity as if it's their entire identity are focusing too much on it.
