About 50% or more of the babies that you kill with abortions would have grown up to be women - does this bother you at all?

+1 yWhy would it bother ME? It's not like I'M ever gonna get to fuck any of them!!
How does it sit with YOU that a lot of pregnancies are from rapes, incest and child molestations or some of them may end up being life-threatening and, because you won't let them have an abortion, a LOT of those women you seem to cherish so much are GONNA die, or that a lot of people that now want or need an abortion and can no longer get one, legally, are gonna have to get one from some shady character in a back alley and COULD fuck it up and either ruin her chances of ever having a kid again, or kill her? How about all those scared young pregnant girls that CAN'T get an abortion now are gonna try giving themselves one with a coat hanger and, again, either fucking up their chances of ever having a kid, again, or might even accidentally kill herself?00 Reply

Anonymous(25-29)+1 yThe sex, gender, future occupation of the fetus has no impact on the argument for abortion. The argument is that a person (in this case a woman) has a right to do with their body as they will. If someone does not want to donate their organs/blood, they should not be forced to. That is why we ask for consent from people for organ donations, or at blood drives, etc. Or why we donât perform human testing if the individual does not give consent to be tested on.
As well, abortion is not the termination of a fetus, it is the termination of a pregnancy. There are cases where a fetus survives an abortion, such as c-sections.012 Reply
Opinion Owner+1 yA c-section is a type of abortion, so... try again?
Opinion Owner+1 yI notice that your first instinct is to use insults. Are you not interested in holding a mature conversation?
As well:
Dictionary. com: "Also called voluntary abortion. the removal of an embryo or fetus from the uterus in order to end a pregnancy," or, "Any of various surgical methods for terminating a pregnancy, especially during the first six months."
Medline: "An abortion is a procedure to end a pregnancy."
Merriam-Webster: "The termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by, resulting in, or closely followed by the death of the embryo or fetus"
Harvard Health Publishing: "Abortion is the removal of pregnancy tissue, products of conception or the fetus and placenta (afterbirth) from the uterus."
As defined repeatedly, an abortion is the termination of a pregnancy. Most instances of abortion occur early, through natural means, when the body naturally rejects (or miscarries) a fetus, when the egg has latched itself inside a fallopian tube and therefore started an ectopic pregnancy, when the fetus is determined to be non-viable (non-living) and is not naturally released/completely released through a miscarriage, or when a woman determines that she does not want to be a host to a parasitic embryo. Unfortunately, these abortions, because the fetus is not at a stage where it could survive outside of the womb, result in the fetus not surviving.
Opinion Owner+1 yThere are also later-term abortions, in instances where the life of the woman is at risk due to complications of the pregnancy. In some instances, the fetus becomes non-viable, it dies inside of the womb, and the woman's body may not eject it all, so an abortion is necessary to remove the remains before the woman dies of sepsis. Sometimes, the fetus may not grow a head, it may not grow lungs, etc. etc., and so, an abortion is performed to terminate the pregnancy, such that the woman is no longer giving away her body's nutrients, and damaging her own body, at the expense of a non-viable fetus. Sometimes, the fetus may be breached, or be in a situation that makes birthing extremely dangerous or impossible, and so medical professionals will perform, get this, an abortion, usually through means of a cesarean section. Now, usually, cesarean sections are done at a point where the fetus is viable, and can survive outside of the womb without the aid of a host. The fetus/infant lives in this case, but, since the pregnancy was terminated, it is considered an abortion.
Opinion Owner+1 yTo terminate: to bring to an end
A: an indefinite article used to modify non-specific or non-particular nouns
Pregnancy: a period of time in which a fetus develops in a woman's womb or uterus
Phrase: To terminate a pregnancy
Meaning: To bring to an end the period of time in which a fetus develops in a woman's womb or uterus
So... to end a pregnancy...
Opinion Owner+1 yDo you understand the definition of abortion?
An abortion is the termination of a pregnancy. It is not in and of itself the killing of a fetus. Cesarean sections, a late-term abortion, often result in the infant surviving. Most feti deaths occur when abortions are performed in the early/mid stages of a pregnancy, due to the fact that at that point, the fetus is non-viable (not able to survive outside of the womb).
The majority of abortions are done because the woman is not willing to sacrifice her body to be a host to a parasitic fetus, you are correct, and that woman has every right to do so. I gave examples of different reasons and types for abortion because you seemed to be struggling with the definition of an abortion.
As well, you may consider it murder as you please. It does not erase the issue of bodily autonomy. I do not support the enslavement of women; I do not support involuntary servitude.
I didn't realize that telling someone to "try again" was an insult. Perhaps I should use a different phrasing: "Would you like to provide evidence to support your position that a multitude of dictionaries have incorrectly defined the single word "Abortion"? And perhaps I might suggest doing so without the childish attempts to demote my mental age and reasoning abilities to that below a twelve-year-old?"
+1 yMy body my choice debunked quickly:
1) it's not YOUR body YOU are messing with. It's the other body inside you.
2) MBMC starts before pregnancy. In most cases, you can make good choices that will prevent an unwanted pregnancy. If you CHOOSE to have sex, you do so knowing the risks.
The MBMC people are part of this warped culture of no accountability. Always a victim. Everything should be free. It's always someone else's fault. It's a bad look.

+1 yIt doesnât bother me. Fetuses all start female and sexually diverge around 8-9 weeks and most abortions are by 12 weeks, so most abortions are female already
10 Reply It's not an actual baby with a full functioning brain until six months in. Or else the terms "embryo" and "fetus" wouldn't exist.
If it was "baby murder," it'd be illegal everywhere.
The pro-life argument is retarded and based on pure emotion and zero logic or intelligence.
That's all I gotta say on this.04 Reply- +1 y
How do you know when it has "a full functioning brain" ?
- +1 y
Science and technology measuring brain activity. The same way it can tell when someone is a vegetable and isn't.

I guess you don't know. Nobody else does either, so for now it is meaningless.
12K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. How about all the young blacks who would have been Democrat voters? 74% of black babies are aborted. Do black lives really matter?
10 Reply18.6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Your math is off. You havenât factored in fetal survivability. Up to 24 weeks, the fetas only has a 42-50% of surviving.

What was the point of your comment

@WhiteBoyChill Only to remind people that all adopted people are not happy.

And there are plenty of non-adopted people who arenât happy either

@WhiteBoyChill Yes. However, adopted people often suffer from a unique sort of trauma others do not experience.
