Plenty of black people have the potential to be business owners, entrepreneurs and innovators. They will need to hire employees at that point. And they do exist and have existed for a while. If you want me to give you a full list of black CEOs (the late Herman Caine was the CEO of papa John’s pizza) and notable business owners I will put in the research.

The question is do more black people want to do what it takes to be in that position of power. I imagine some do but too many doubt themselves and they shouldn’t.

Some blacks want everything black owned, and operated which is a bit racist.

I definitely had lots of Filipinos working for me over the years. When they first immigrate they tend to take any job they can get and try to send money back to the Philippines to their families.

If it's Black owned and operated that means they like to hire black people to "Support their community."
They can just decide to only hire who they want to, there's no law against that. The only way it's illegal is if black people hire a white person, then fire him with no legitimate reason except that he doesn't fit in because he's white.

Most people would never know they were overlooked because of their race. Only the people in charge are looking through resumes and giving first priority to the people they want.

Just because someone doesn’t know doesn’t mean it’s not still illegal. If you look into it you’re able to see unfair hiring practices, people just don’t look into it. If a company has absolutely no diversity regardless of how qualified other candidates were. Then there’s probably a case there.

I think it's mostly government employees like the police that are under watch to ensure diversity. There's a quota they have to meet. Let's be honest, that's to ensure that minorities are being hired, not majorities like White people. I seriously doubt anybody is going into a Black owned business and checking to see if they're hiring Whites.

They get away with it. Some Black people even advertize that their businesses are Black Owned and that's supposed to be a positive thing to get people of color to shop there rather than businesses owned by other races. I can't imagine seeing an ad for a look cal business here that boasts "White Owned" it would be seen as racist.

Not sure what kind of job you've had, but most companies care more about who works the hardest and is qualified and don't care about race.

Im white and My 1st job was a black owned family buisness and my boss was black.

I now own my own buisness and have 3 korean people working for me.

It's only racists that see colour. I had to be told my fiancee at the time wasn't white. I was honestly shocked. I just saw a woman I loved.

That is so not true. I worked for someone who was black. He was one of the best bosses I've ever had. He respected his employees and wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty working right with us. I also had an Asian employee.

you go to a black owned business and its mostly black run. Same with Asians and whites. Except there seems to be more whites and blacks working for Asians than vice versa
