For a lot of time we had a lot of control in the entire mess. Because we had the worlds highest ability to refine crude oil into usable fuels. So countries would ship their crude oil here, we would refine it and ship it back. But there is a very, very good chance that it will no longer be the case. Because as the current admin cuts down on oil refining here, China is ramping it up on their end. That and given that China is also making huge moves in world markets like South America.

So things might start shifting into even more worse direction for us. Because let's be honest our relationship with both China and the majority of the middle east is all smiles above the table and knives under it.

Saudi Arabia is part of US foreign policy in the middle east. Basically the Saudi state is a US client state. The reason we aren't so tough on them is because Saudi Arabia is a powder keg of islamic extremism like pre revolutionary iran was that's keep in check by the Saudi royal family, once the oil is gone the state will collapse. Saudi Arabia may not export that much oil to the US but they help set the price of oil by how much or how little they produce and export.

The CIA funds more terrorists and insurgents than Saudi. Has killed more civilians and opposition than the Saudi's, and more women are raped, killed and beaten in the USA than in Saudi. The USA is worse than Saudi in that regard.

Because of billions and billions of dollars and it’s not like us not being a trade partner with them will stop any of this. We sell them a bunch of millitary equipment to use against people we like even less than them. This is the real world u can’t just ignore countries u don’t like. U have to be mature when it comes to global politics and work with those who aren’t ur favorite. They’re money is still money that can do anything including feed the homeless and pay for a sick child’s cancer treatment. Good question. The answer is: Because it‘s profitable for American companies and because it‘s strategically smart to have a powerful ally in the region who is also a fierce enemy of Iran.


The US has never cared about human rights, why would hitting women and killing journalists suddenly be a problem? As long as it‘s beneficial to the American elite it will stay this way.
