Yes. Most people love others like parents, grandparents, children, pets with all their hearts. They would do anything for them.

It's such a part of our psyche that people who are abused often love and want to be loved by their abuser.

When it comes to loving a spouse or special partner, it can get tricky. You first have to believe that love exists. (Love, not fairy tale love). Then, you have to be willing to give your trust to that partner. If a person is unwilling to risk pain and disappointment, they will never find the life partner who won't hurt or disappoint.

Finding the right partner takes discernment, but also luck. You have to be with someone for a while and give your all to the relationship before you can know that you can trust them completely. They prove it over and over again.

Finding love risks pain. But, speaking for myself, finding a committed life partner is worth it.
