That’s pretty standard in social security ponzi schemes and welfare states. The kids are left holding the (empty) bag when the government has to inject gobs of baseless worthless cash into the inflation mill to distract people from an economy that is not as healthy as they would like to pretend it is. If governments got out of both of those rackets and forced parents to invest wisely and prepare for a future that didn’t involve stealing from the young to ensure comfort for the old, the west would be in a lot better position in both age demographics.
Thanks for MHO
That's somewhat accurate in a shallow way.
Yes, most of the economic issues especially pertaining to debt, was caused by the baby boomer generation who were given pretty much everything for free or close to free, in the hopes that they'd pay in forward...
They did not...
Kind regards,

I'm not sure about that to be honest it's a Fridays for future slogan or at least I got it from there but I think it's only partly true because it's often the parents that work hard to give the young generation a good life.
At the same time many young kids prefer to stay home watching Netflix, playing video games and living a comfortable lifestyle over actually working out and changing something.
Sure part of there are good reasons to blame the older generations but that's the only thing many of the young people have come with when it comes to climate change.
Ask them to skip school for a demo and they come, ask them to stay away from the computer for a week and you get their outrage.
It's wrong.
The West is defined by people living comfortably, by stealing from other countries. In the past it was imperialism, then colonialism, nowadays it's via hegemony.
To some extent there's some truth. The baby boomers and their children ushered in a lot of short sighted policy changes that have resulted in major economic problems.
Western culture teaches you inherit land from your parents. Hawaiians believe you borrow the land from your grandchildren.
When does that ever happen? Parents work their whole lives to have something to leave to their children.
Not at all. That's a load of crap that only the most ungrateful losers would buy in to. Of course, there's NO shortage of those in the West.
No, I don't agree with it.
I think the opposite is true
