I don’t mean to upset anyone, but why don’t black men seem to value education, family and responsibility in American society?

I went to school with a bunch of black guys, and almost all of them were always skipping class for some reason. Constantly. Every day of the week. All day long. Just smoking weed instead, being loud and disruptive in the hallways, and always trashing school property everywhere they went.

Granted some white people did the same things as well, but it was always a very small minority, and I judged those white people just as harshly.

But somehow I’m being unfair to black people and so I’m just confused why people go around insisting I’m somehow racist. Even though I believe in holding everyone to the same standards regardless of their race.

I didn’t grow up being told by my family that I was somehow better than every black person. And that still isn’t a belief I hold. But I will continue judging people for their actions. And I am still going to continue holding a bias against groups of people who continually make bad decisions.

Not to mention the whole violent crime situation we have in our country.

A disproportionately larger amount of which is caused by black guys, despite them being such a statistically small share of the overall population.

And then of course you have the family situation as well, where a majority of black children are growing up fatherless because their Dads left them.

And so my intention isn’t to piss anybody off but merely just to explain how I developed my feelings of wanting to be separate from black people.

I understand not all blacks are bad people but overall, I have no reason to believe that most are good.
