Why do you think the two drug dealers lied to the judge and fled the country?

Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid that is about 50 times more potent than heroin. A kilo of fentanyl has the potential to kill 500,000 people. (A kilo is 2.2 pounds.)

These dealers were caught with 150,000 fentanyl pills. So I'm guessing that would weigh more than 2.2 pounds. So maybe they brought enough to kill several millions of Americans.

But the wise liberal judge in California released them without bail. They promised to come back and appear for their later hearing date, but they fled the country to Mexico, instead.

It makes me laugh when people ask if China will nuke us. Why would they? Do you know how bloody expensive nukes are?

Typically a pill is about 100mg in weight. That much Fentanyl would kill about 50 people. So each pill is mostly non-fentanyl substances. Probably sugar. But even if they were 100% Fentanyl 150,000 would be about 15kg. So it really depends upon how pure the pills are. Considering how many people are ODing on Fentanyl; I would guess that at a minimum the pills are 1% fentanyl. So that is enough Fentanyl to kill somewhere between 7.5 million and 75,000 people. The only good thing about this story is that it isn't carfentanyl. Which is 10,000 times more potent than morphine; or 100 times more potent than Fentanyl.

I know that even as wicked as fentanyl is, it's just the tip of the iceberg. Recently a toddler died of fentanyl. The baby just touched a coffee table that had residue on it. I don't think most people know this drug can just be absorbed through the skin. The baby is dead, and both parents are in jail.
What if someone dumped this into our water system?

They just recently started calling the deaths "poisonings" instead of "over doses". I had been waiting to see when they were finally going to call it for what it is. I knew they were poisonings a long time ago.
Snapchat seems to be a big seller and responsible for a lot of poisonings. The young people go on there thinking they are getting Perkaset or Adderall and they take one pill and die.
There are just so many people trying to take America 🇺🇸 down any way they can. I never thought this would happen. It's so sad!

I don't know what guidelines the judge used in not requiring bail, but that was a big mistake. The judge should be censured.

He said because they haven't had any past violations from these guys, they weren't a flight risk.

@stevienix That's usually one of the things taken into consideration when determining bail, but that should have been offset by the seriousness of the crime they were being charged with. The DA should have insisted on bail.
