Am I a bad person for knowingly accepting the wrong order from drive through at McDonald’s?

This just happened. I was at McDonald’s and I paid for a Mchicken and that’s all.

The girl ended up giving me the wrong order and gave me a Big Mac, fries, a drink and the order happened to have a Mchicken as well 😂 and chicken nuggets. I only paid for a Mchicken. I looked at the order and just said “thank you” and left…

Yes, this is equivalent to stealing.

I did that, but I didn't find out it was the wrong order until after I parked in the lot.

At that point I don't think they could serve it to another customer if I had walked in and returned it. Once it leaves the building it's Probably too late. I just ate all the extra food and I figured that me and McDonald's are even for all the times they fucked up and didn't give me all my order.

Part of me wants to say yeah that is bad but then again I've had my order given to me and its been wrong and less than what I paid for, so your probably just balancing things out for a future time when they screw up and you order something big and they give you something small.

It might be a problem if it was something else. But Mcdonalds on a whole don't care about such things therefore it's not a bother. Mcdonalds you can get free stuff just by complaining or something because they abide by the rule it's much quicker to move onto the next customer rather than spend time arguing or changing things.
And because mcdonalds gets so many customers it does not worry.

Also if you brought it up, you may have had chance to get her fired tbh so it's probably better you didn't. I don't think McDonalds would care but I have know other companies to fire people for simple mistakes such as these which they wouldn't of been so if they were never brought by a customer.

Nah. The service of McDonald's in Turkey is also trash and once i got myself a McRoyal menu but instead i got double pounder and onion rings as an extra, I was like, "much better" and just walked away with it. Then devoured all of it with PLEASURE 😎

So chalk it it up to a mickey d error in your favor, because tomorrow it's just as likely they f*** up you order again. But not in your favor.
