My coworker,55 old man, took me  home  at his car We were talking how hot was a day and how tired and bored we were When he goes:Sing something. Im like:... I can't sing. He insisted to sing. Then says:your people from Africa genetically are good singers and dancers, you all can sing and dance. Im like:nope... it has nothing to do with race, my nigerian dad is a doctor not a dancer in fct he can't sing or dance... He said that since Africans had no writing before europeans taught them (!!!) they cominicated bu dance. I mean... WHAT IN THE FUCK?

Probably the same as I'm from the uk and I'm a colonisizer who stole the wealth of Africans... Puerile and racist. I'm from a long line of paupers and can trace my ancestors back to that time period, some of my ancestors were in the workhouses.
Only thing I say to Africans is Africa is a hot country and due to my pale colouring (redhead) I'd burn. Which is true I burn just being outside for 5 minutes in warm weather..

Is it "racism"? I don't know. So many definitions of that word. It's racial, and it's ignorant, but it wasn't anything that was trying to put you down. Call it what you want, I guess.
