I feel sad by the discovery men and women can never be equal and social problems between them are getting denser. Just a shit head filthy rich B-word Andrew Tate is leading immature men into twisted view of women and how they should be and act around men with his misogynistic remarks and messed up so-said beliefs.
Then we have women encouraging each other on OnlyFans and prostitution for mère extra cash, selling one's flesh is the final step to degrading and losing any shred of respect, it should be last resort to the desperate at most if not a rather-to-die-than-to-do choice, not an option for some airhead idler people.
Don't know why they find it fun to use the body as product with price tag on, I'm mad and upset about it.(I don't want to start an argument but that's how I feel)
Feminism is good, but encouraging the denial of our feminine traits that we should be proud of isn't fine by me, nor shaming men over it and making us dominant over them is making our lives better, it'd no different from what men used to do some generations ago. Some ladies should cool off from their Androphobia before speaking for women, because that's driving some men to be more critical of us these days.
I demand a truce between genders, sober up everyone. We're all humans.
Final remark: May some countries' government fucks itselves up one day00 Reply

+1 ySo I'm a gay woman, and to some people, that automatically means that I hate men. That is so far from the truth. I don't hate men in the slightest. I'm just not physically or emotionally attracted to them.
One of my very best friends is a guy and I want him to stand in my wedding whenever that may be.
There truly is no animosity towards men from me. Just like you mentioned in your question, I've been hurt by both men and women. I don't assume anything about anyone based on gender. I let their personality decide that for me.

+1 yI don’t think most people have the personal experience to make an unbiased assessment. When a woman has bad experiences with men and then sees or hears that other women have too. How could she possibly come to any other conclusion besides (some) men are bad? How many more bad experiences does she have to experience and witness to get to “most” and eventually “all”? Apparently not that many, there are a lot of women out there who think and say exactly that.
All of this is equally true of men.
Add to this the media’s commitment to fueling the fires of any and all “us vs them” mindsets and we get the “battle of the sexes”. If they don’t get you with that, it’ll be “race wars”, or “Dems vs Reps”, or “nation vs nation”. Anything to keep us from investing any meaningful time and energy on the one true war: the haves vs the have nots, the rich vs the poor. The one conflict that predates all others and is at the heart of all of them. Greed, the original sin and the root of all evil.00 Reply

+1 yI met a feminist once back in college. Didn't know she was a feminist at the time. We became friends. Long story short she falsely accused me of stalking, of being a potential school shooter when I don't even own any guns. I was served an ex parte ppo that I had to fight in court. I would wake up every morning feeling the need to throw up. Thankfully my lawyer, who she had attempted to hire to represent her after said lawyer was already working for me, was able to convince her and her lawyer to agree to a civil temporary restraining order. That experience gave me my current views of feminism. A selfish man hating movement that will do anything to ruin a man's life and reputation.

Let's not. Sexism against men is way more common today than any supposed "sexism" against women ("misogyny") and one of the last things I want things I want to talk about is the hate movement of idiocy and misandry created 170+ years ago by Millicent Fawcett and Susan B. Anthony known as feminism. Feminism is cancer and the world would literally be better off without it, for both women and men.
So let's not talk about First World, upper middle class, predominantly white women's imaginary non-problems that stem from being First World, upper middle class, and predominantly white.10 Reply
+1 yI honestly can't fathom all the hate some people have for the opposite sex. Its for the most part we have all been hurt by the opposite sex but why would that make you hate 50% of all the people on earth and an entire sex? We are all brothers and sisters here on this earth and we have been together since the dawn of time and have created all of entire civilization! We should be working with each other not against each other! I honestly feel the type of society we are all being forced to live in for the benefit of a few aka capitalism is incredibly stressful and individualistic and has turned us all against each other just for a buck. I consider myself a feminist but a humanist first and foremost and in my opinion feminism is a movement of equality for men and women in society plain and simple and also fights the oppression of women everywhere in the world and gives them equal rights.

Thanks beautiful you too! 😘
Yes, there has been a lot of disagreements on here. And I think I am guilty of getting in the mix a little bit myself.
I would not classify myself as sexist though.
My eyes were opened to somethings about some women not all, after being hurt this year.
But I still have a lot of hope since it is a woman, a friend I met on GaG that partially helped me understand things and heal.
I am not the type that demonises all women for something one woman did to me.03 Reply- +1 y
True it’s the messed up individuals that can’t think past there feelings or what they were taught? I’ve always questioned what I was taught. I think for myself. We need more people they think for themselves. Not what all there freinds say or there mom or dad. Or society which is just makin a ton of money of our lack of individual identity
Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yI have no opinion on sexism really. It's just a word. And some people contort that word and it's meaning to fit their agenda.
Feminism: defined as "the advocacy of women's rights on the basis of the equality of the sexes..
Feminism was not bad in it's conception. But today's Feminism is NOT about equal rights anymore. It has become an affirmative action for the female gender. I would say nothing has hurt male-female interaction more than Feminism over the past couple generations.

+1 yFeminism is believing in equality between the sexes. Personally I think sexism totally sucks and while it absolutely hurts men I think sexism sucks more for women then men.
That being said I’d rather be a woman because toxic masculinity sucks, and being so wholly distrusted sucks.00 Reply- 1.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
+1 yIn the 1950s, before second or later wave feminism, the United States had a credible external threat that it needed the population united against. Now that we no longer have a credible external threat, the people who own this country need us fighting each other so that we don’t think too much about what they’re doing to us and we won’t rise up against them. Just like everything else the left does, feminism was a political power-play and a cash grab.

Anonymous(25-29)+1 yI wouldn't call myself a feminist, just because of the idea that it means I want women to be on a pedestal. I'd still define it basically as, advocating for women to be treated equally.
It's so stupid when someone blames an entire sex for their problems, and decides that sex is inferior. It's like they're deliberately trying to avoid actually knowing anything. It's so lame. Some of them are probably just desperate for attention, but with how high the frequency is, it's not too unlikely that thats how some people think. So, what I think is, sexism is stupid. Which you'd think would be more obvious.
00 Reply1.9K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Modern feminism isn't for women, it's against men. It's a big, hateful, man hating machine that will find anything that benefit or please, and either destroy it, or turn it against them.
I've seen such amount of pure hate toward men on every social media, or media in general, that I can hardly believe it's a minority now.

Anonymous(25-29)+1 yI 100% agree. No one should be treating the bad things men and women do as representations of their entire sex. It's childish thinking.
However whether most feminists realize it or not, they are supporting a "movement" that does just that. They believe and spout lies about human nature and appeals to those lies to perpetuate it's existence. It's the "you don't love me, now prove that you love me by putting up with my shit" abusive behavior on a massive scale.

Opinion Owner+1 yEver since the Declaration of Sentiments in Seneca Falls, they have been saying that men have been trampling on their rights (I don't think it was that simple). It wasn't until within the past 50-60 years when they added the notion that men are violent people (rape culture, domstic violence, cat calling, sexual crimes in general, toxic masculinity etc).
To be a feminist, you must unquestioningly believe all this or else they will say you hate women, are an incel or even a rapist if you are a man. If you are a woman, you will probably be called a "pick me" or that you have "internalized misogyny" which pretty much means you are a thought criminal.- +1 y
Rape is a serious issue. But I had a convo with a girl was as extremely crazy about all men rape and if we had 24 hours without men we wouldn’t get raped walking home. Bunch of crazy bs. Those are isolated events. No need to hate all men. I have many great men in my life that would never rape anyone. She even told me I fed into men raping women becuase In my post I said I enjoy when men look at me? She said I was asking to be raped. A lot of crazy women out there. I just believe in equality for all genders and races. ThAt simple
Opinion Owner+1 yExactly, this is what happens when you blame an entire culture for the existence of rape when you should be blaming the individuals who do it. You create a lot of unnecessary paranoia.

My own personal experience with sexism and they only thing that effects me are men that want a sexually active girlfriend but then becuase of brainwashing In our society immediately question like oh u fked on first date. Oh u let me do all kinds of things to you. Omg what’s your body count how many guys are u with right now? But then again those guys are lame and to be avoided. So I look for a secure man. Not get mad at all men… although society doesn’t have a place for truly sexually liberated woman yet. A lot of girls act liberated to get attention
Opinion Owner+1 yIts the cultural idea that sexual relations is a crucial part of the relationship but it isn't. Studies have shown that a couple who wait until marriage are far happier than those who don't.
I can understand the body count one. If you are with a person (male or female, doesn't matter) and they've already had sex with 50 people at the age of 20, it's probably reasonable to expect that they are just going to want the sex and leave and never talk to you again. Not to mention that they are really likely to have an STD.
+1 yI think a lot of people, both sexes, have bad experiences with romantic partners and becomes bitter and assume the whole gender is like that

I was briefly taught feminism in my undergraduate. And the definition is something like women should be treated equally in sexual decisions/ expression and in personal relationships.. I society as a whole. In politics and the workplace. Women should have the same rights. There wouldn’t be a need for true feminist beliefs if our society was built on these beliefs already.
