Gonna guess you mean anti social in the way it's written not the meaning it means. But I am both anyway granted not someone who would ever be deemed anti social by a psychologist but I for sure have anti social thoughts most of the time.

Just to be clear here Anti-social is referred to behaviour as break rules, lack empathy, tend to show no remorse, manipulative etc that's what that means. But anyone with rational would think and also use anti-social just to be the opposite of social. Because that's what the word would imply. When Anti-social is used for a different thing and also those people are often quite social lmao.
Though the reason to why it's called Anti-social is obvious because of course lack empathy and break rules etc makes them not fit to social requirements people want in our lives.

Anyway I just wanted to ramble lol. The word actually more to the purpose of just been not social is called Asocial however people have also used this word as if it was Anti-social though there should be a separated difference.

And why I is both because I don't respect authority nor rules, often have a major lack of empathy, avoid other's, don't like most people, dislike phone calls, would be fine and have been fine with just staying in not talking to anyone.
However were short comings to be called one fully is I am not manipulative, I do have selective empathy for people I really like, can love someone normally, not one to harm others unless if self defence etc, not impulsive nor am I organised, I have selective remorse and guilt and for sure learn from my actions.

I want to consider myself social, because I really love people. It's just that I have a little difficulty approaching them and starting/joining a conversation. And even when I do, maintaining a conversation can be a little taxing. But I do enjoy it while it lasts and while it's not awkward.

Maybe "social introvert" would best describe me.

Do you mean anti-social or introverted? If it's about the later I lean more towards being an introvert. I don't find most people interesting enough to want to spend time with them. I love social interaction with those people whose company I enjoy as well as some interactions with strangers around me from time to time and find many social interactions that aren't based on mutual interests tiring. I enjoy some discussions online too. But I need quite some alone time.

I also won't attend social events like birthdays, weddings or funerals (unless it's people who are close to me of course) just because it's expected from me if I don't feel like it. I don't give a shit about the wedding or death of some relative I saw once when I was 12 years old. This person is basically a stranger so why should I care about them?
