Have you ever been called a traitor?

I guess I can add that denomination to all the other "accolades" I received in the last year, because tonight me and the provincial head of our political union signed to disband the union and it's connected lists. This union has been around since 1951, and has lived past its due date. As of tomorrow, those 71 years never happened.

This union acted like a political party when it wasn't one, and it was a corrupt, bloated and rotting carcass. In its place, tomorrow we are officially starting our new political party - a bold step towards the future, for a better life, for the People.

When people are weak and ineffective, and simply dislike what you are doing, they call you a traitor. When people think you are truly a traitor, they plot your demise.

I've been called a traitor here at GaG and probably other places, because I strongly support state rights over the US Government. Somehow that makes me a traitor against the US. But from my point of view the US Government itself is a traitor against the states. I view the US Government much like I'd view a foreign invader.

Some people call that being a traitor. I call it supporting the country and what it was originally meant to be. I want it to be that way again.
