Do people who ghost not care if they get stood up?

I've never understood this. I don't ghost people because I value my time and don't want this to happen to me. I guess some people fly by the seat of their pants never making plans? It's the only way I can think of why they wouldn't care. They just go do something else which is probably absolutely nothing.
