I wonder if the coin he was photographed accepting after the big betrayal has anything to do with that? He’s a cheap agent

if it doesn’t take 40 pieces of silver for him!

If I had to guess? Its because Pence knew what he was getting himself into when he hitched himself to Donald Trump and tried his best to not get his hands dirty when the hammer finally fell. If I had to guess his plan was probably to be vice president when Trump was impeached and take over as acting president from then on.
So yeah, he was never inside the Trump inner orbit and that was by design.
I’m giving you this because it’s a different angle than is usually talked about.
Is it? I thought it was pretty normal since it was talked a lot about by the end of the republican primary in 2016. The republican establishment realized they were beaten but they were still new to Trump and did not have much faith in him surviving as president so they pushed Pence as Vice President in the hope of him as an establishment being able to retake control in the end.
Of course, the GOP evolved rapidly after this but Pence and his purpose as the Vice President was a choice made very early as well as his role within the crazy Trump white house. In a way he sort of became a relic of the GOPs plans before MAGA corrupted them.
Pence isn't in the way.
The others are.

Mike Pence didn't reserve his healthy calcium levels and LOOK! Someone made a mean post about him on GAG, don't let this happen to you!!
Remember, a perfect future is just one healthy calcium away!
Lol good one
What in the world are you talking about? Had Mike Pence refused to certify the election, he would have been investigated. As it stands, he will probably testify at some point.
He was photographed accepting a membership coin. He will be prosecuted for nothing, ever.
That's not a response to my question. He was ordered to overturn the election. He refused and now he is the most hated villain in Trumpworld.
When you sign up to be part of the team in the biggest game on earth, and you betray your team of course that team is going to get upset. I don’t care if we’re talking football or politics.
Well, he saw his "team" as the folks who created the Constitution.
That's the team we were all supposed to be on.
None of them are on that team, I just like the ones who rob me less and leave me alone better than the ones who steal more from me and keep inciting their followers to harass me and don’t let me make decisions about my own body.
Me, me, me. . .
I get it.
The problem is this nation has over 330 million other "mes". And not all of them agree with your views.
We originally came together under this one document and under on process for resolving disagreements.
We call that being civilized.
Does that apply outside your tribe as well?
What do you mean by that? Did I beg you to be on your team? I only want the right to create my own. And rather than have constant war like Afghanistan, Central Africa, Mexico, etc. Our achievement was supposed to be a peaceful process by which we would make these determinations.
I ain't trying to convince you, right? You are going to do what you think you have to do. But if you are looking for a rational explanation, that's where it is at.
That process defines the United States. Nothing else. Now if we don't want to be the United States any more, I get it. But that should be a rational logical discussion.
The last few years have been an object demonstration of how many people are willing to get violent because they no longer want to be the traditional United States.
what I meant by the question was does the constitution apply when it is inconvenient for you as well? Lots of people on both sides seem to think it only applies when it benefits them.
Oh that thing. . ."the traditional United States", was not really a thing. And the people who get violent, well they are supposed to go to jail, right?
Nah. . . that's not a thing either. The Constitution is the law. Do you have a belief that the law only applies when someone disagrees with your politics?
Because that is not a belief I share.
Historical not traditional is what I meant, thank you for highlighting a bad word choice. So you support prosecuting Clinton Bush and Obama for things they did in office as well?
I don't recall any investigation into Obama's administration except Hillary Clinton. And several Congressional committees investigated her. The FBI had a press conference to announce they were not going to prosecute her. They claimed they did not have any indication it was intentional. Remember, the charges amounted three incidents of sharing classified information. Now, do I believe she should have been prosecuted? Well, I believe there should be one law. If I would be prosecuted, then so should she.
As for Bill Clinton, well I was a young Republican back then. And him lying about the affair was a deal breaker for me. I believed he should have been impeached. But Congress decided not to. Remember, he only survived impeachment by a few votes.
But no trump supporter wants to answer the question.
Can a sitting President be indicted for crimes?
This issue has to be resolved. Because our political process is broken.
In Hillary’s case they laid out the case, the evidence, and the punishments and basically shouted ‘psyche because they didn’t want to commit clinton-assisted suicide like so many other people who have dirt on them did. Obama had social armor that terrified people who envisioned their careers going up in smoke for being called a weaponized word that there isn’t really a way to prove or disprove objectively, so there are lots of things he did which you or I would be prosecuted for but he wasn’t because he is protected. By presidential and other privilege. That same privilege which is being revoked from Trump. This is why I am upset: either Trump gets it too or Obama loses his. Democrats can’t have it both ways, that is a demonstrable violation of your ‘one law’ principle.
Actually, they did not. You are talking about something totally different. You are talking about the suicide of Vince Foster. This is the funny thing. . .
Clinton was impeached for lying. . . not about Vince Foster, but about his affair with Monica Lewinsky. Here is the filing from Ken Starr.
www.govinfo.gov/.../CDOC-105hdoc310.pdf
That's how we learned about the affair. The WhiteWater investigation was going nowhere. Ken Star was the investigator. He was investigating WhiteWater, Vince Foster's suicide, etc. and uncovered that Clinton was getting blow jobs from Lewinsky at the White House. Clinton denied the affair to the prosecutor and should have been impeached. But the dems supported him. And there was no way he could be impeached seeing you need 67 votes to do that.
So now what do we know? Ken Starr started the investigation and had it run for four years before bringing it to a close. We know that Ken Starr does not share Mueller's view. He believes a President can be indicted for criminal acts. He just never found enough evidence to bring an indictment.
So that was his decision. And unlike in the Mueller case, Mr. Starr only laid out the case for impeaching Clinton based upon his lies to cover up his affair with Lewinsky.
As for your other claims, it really doesn't help for me to refute them. Because there is nothing evidence based here. You can't make a claim, then get angry that folks don't accept it, without proof.
Clinton is a classic case. Had there been any criminal offense, he would have been indicted? There was the Juanita Broderick story. Starr wanted to pursue that. But she was compromised after claiming Clinton never touched her under oath. In order to turn an indictment, Starr needed evidence. And the only thing he had was Clinton/Lewinsky.

One last question for you, and then you can ask me one more than we should really be moving on ‘cause this thr getting old a chronologically not necessary to content wise because I would love to carry this on longer. Do you sincerely believe that weaponized accusations of racial impropriety did not increase exponentially during the Obama era, and do you not believe that these Weaponized accusations changed career trajectory’s and peoples willingness to sacrifice themselves by opposing Obamas policies? I guess that’s a two part question.
Because Mike Pence was religious, not crazy. Whereas Trump was the other way round.
He knew where the line was. He didn’t cross it.
He wasn't involved with Trumps accusations of election stealing
What if anything did he do in four years? The media was sold out for blood after Trump that I honestly don’t recall even hearing his name other than by association and in passing.
Duties as VP. He wasn't involved
For starters his life was threatened on January 6, so if anything he's a victim.
He is squeaky clean Christian ⁉️🤷🏻♂️
He is squeaky all right, fitting for the rat bastard than he is
Are you being serious or what?
He betrayed Trump to protect himself. Multiple times. He keeps doing it on a regular basis.
