I remember Trump trying to do a lot of things to lower drug prices and the Democrats fought him every step of the way because he said something terrible that was unrelated.

They claimed he can't do any good because he said some useless bull shit somewhere else on something else.

Exactly like that, yes. Though I don't recall Biden saying he would decriminalize pot or release drug offenders, and I was sort of watching for it.

But I did see the MORE act sail through the house only to be filibustered in the Senate - by republicans, and republicans alone. Indeed, no one who thinks marijuana should be legal has any excuse to vote for a Republican. You can argue democrats aren't bullying their way passed republicans fast enough, and there is some good points to be made in that argument, but it doesn't in any way change the enormous underlying point that republicans need to be bullied passed to get anything of value done in the first place. They are not a solution but are the problem.

As usual, the headline by the post is quite misleading. If you want to make sense of it all, read the entire article on the CMS plan. It was a good thing, but it had been in the works for a long time and happened under his watch, so of course, he takes credit. But let's cut the loser a break and say "good job".

However, let's tell the truth about how many people it actually benefits - about 3 million users potentially. Trump ran around making it sound like "I've reduced the cost of insulin to $35 for ANYONE on Medicare", but that just wasn't the case. It's a good start, but the blow back is from the drug companies and more so from some insurers, NOT the Democrats. Biden has NOT capped insulin costs at $35 across ANY board.
