With California having this problem what kinds of problems will it cause ?

Cause people to grow own tomatoes

People will buy less tomatoes an they will go bad at stores

Cause more heart problems cuz of not enough lycopene in diet

Force tomato farms to build green house

Have to build desalination plants to feed crops of all kinds

A shortage of tomato paste anything. Tomato juice, spaghetti sauce, ketchup. The price will skyrocket. Hoarding just like people did with toilet paper

Pretty much a little bit of everything up there, another issue is when you're having a drought, you don't have enough water to water plants. So building a greenhouse isn't going to do much good if you don't have water. And I don't know why anybody would need to be anonymous commenting on this

Nothing, it should not cause much short term problems at all.

Medium to long term it will mean arable farmland will need to be irrigated better.

I guess that any product that has tomato in it will be more expensive and perhaps food at the restaurants will be more pricey.
