Why are New York Republicans more right wing than Republicans in California and Massachusetts?

They won't get elected but Republicans will have wins in Mass and Cali because they pick very moderate Republicans. New York was not a part of the Confederacy, and it needs to pick more moderates instead of Bible Belt style alt-right Republicans or it will be a one party state. Talk about crime and inflation instead of being homophobic and telling women to go back to the kitchen in a blue state if you want to win.

New York is a one party state. However, just like Cuban refugees who have experienced communism tend to be the most conservative immigrants into the United States, people who live under tyranny and understand it better know what it is they’re fighting for. In a struggle for the ability to exist there isn’t time to waste words being nice.
