They can say whatever they want in order to bring charges against him, you need evidence. So where will be charges be filed? A state could only bring a lawsuit against the government. Fauci has no exposure to any state for criminal charges. The only entities capable of charging him with any criminal conduct would be the FBI or DOJ. For all the the screaming and showboating trumplicans do, they actually have no power. And unlike their counterparts, they don't actually do any investigating.
