Do you think Americans are snakes?

living in USA for 15 years, I feel like it's true that they are snakes. what do you think?

I think they have the potential to be nice people. But the cards and their system are so stacked against them.

American education is dramatically lacking, regularly placing in the bottom quarter of the worlds' rankings for basics like reading comprehension and math.

As of 2019, 1 in 5 adult Americans are considered to be at a low literacy level - with 8.4 million considered functionally illiterate - meaning they have trouble with basic literacy tasks like comparing and contrasting information, paraphrasing, or making low-level inferences.

They experience the worst income disparity in history - worse even than the French Revolution. They live in a country where entire ethnic groups have faced centuries of concentrated legal, political, systemic racism.

Add to this centuries of pro-capitalist propaganda and corporate oligarchies, and you have a populous doing everything just to slowly (or quickly) starve to death.

I think most Americans have the potential and the want to be good people. But it's hard for them to act on that, because their governments and corporations - and generations of anti-intellectualism and extreme individualism - keep them poor, dumb, and angry.

When their children grow up on military propaganda, it's hard to raise intelligent, compassionate humans.

I feel americans are dumb, at least 50% of mostly youth and Gen Z and rest 50% millennials and 80s kids are very are well read - among which 20% of these are way too too intelligent.

You must have been all over the US to be so sure about that.

The United States is a VERY large, VERY diverse country, with people living drastically different lives. A lot of them immigrants that bring their countries/cultures with them... and you're telling me they're all "snakes?"

No. Many Americans are cats, foxes, goats, swallows, badgers, etc. I’ve resided in USA for 24 years and I identify with a goat. Voldemort and Jafar are the only characters I can think of that look like snakes, but they live (d) in Eurasia.

When do you plan on moving? I lived in the UK for 6 years and didn't like it there, nothing to do with the people, for the most part they're decent but I moved back to the U. S.
