I LOVE SNAKES!!! I always wanted to have snakes as pets but my mother now my wife can't deal with that. I had a roommate in college who had a boa in a huge fish aquarium. He had to keep 80 lb worth of bricks on the lid so that he wouldn't escape!

Snakes are one of the few things I am terrified of. I’ve lived in the desert and there are so many venomous snakes that you have to watch where you put your hands and feet or any other part of your body! I can’t even look at pictures of them and had to scroll past that part of your post really fast. Also, they smell bad, even the non venomous ones. Ick!

I think they’re cool, as an idea, but a couple years ago a sunning garter snake and I surprised each other, and the snake-definitely won the scare-off, lmao, I caught pretty good air, I think😂 So I might be more scared than I think.

I do remember finding a covered hole in a vacant lot when I was a kid, and I thought some kind of rubber piece of something has hanging out of the side of the hole. So I pulled it, and realizing I had a snake by the tail is one of the greatest moments of horror I can remember. I chucked that poor thing like 30 yards😂 Homey was just taking a nap, what a way to wake up, lmao. But I know snakes are pretty much indestructible besides mongooses, cars, and lawnmowers, so I’m sure it was fine😝

As for snakes I’m cool with them & as for me I have a pond in my backyard with alligators, turtles, snakes, fish, frogs & more so if they do their thing & I do mine life is good. Snakes take care of yard pests such as moles, voles, mice & other things. My alligators (Jumbo Joe, Lightning & Snoop) take care of flying shitting pests (geese).

They can be annoying rattle snakes are a thing in the plum hills around the town I live in, and I often come across snakes at work especially at our plant out in the countryside so I've killed and or tossed quite a few of them away. Some are venomous around here and others are just plain aggressive and mean so even if they aren't venomous they'll still come after you.

Fascinating creatures. I once held up traffic as a kid to help a grass snake over the road. Some Aesculapian rat snakes escaped from a zoo here and there's now a thriving population in the nearby town that live in attics.

I have had quiet a few in the past and even breed them I do not mond them at all just gotta be smart and know what your dealing with if you don't then its best not to mess with them
