I do because everytime we have a holiday weekend the calls go to zero just about.

There's political survey calls. 100% American, they are annoying, but not scams stealing money. It is honestly scary getting a political call from a random place because that is how scamers test if a line is active to sell your number to other scammers. Answer a random call then they hang up you're getting fucked for a few months with scam bullshit.

If there was an active scam center in USA the FBI would raid it without hesitation. IRS would have a field day. You can't steal from uncle sam at a call center within the United States. It's happening in India.

Yeah I don't answer the phone anymore unless it's a number I recognize. Everyone texts now so if it's ringing their is an 80 percent chance it's just a scammer. They still come in waves, but I think it's helped a ton. I used to answer and just leave the phone off the hook until they hang up. I read a while back that was suppose to fuck then over because they get charged for every live call, but I think that's probably bs now.
