How come the diaspora Asian community opens the same business no matter where they live?

In America, Vietnamese people usually own nail salons and spas. In London, I saw several nail salons owned and operated by Vietnamese people. Even in France. My Vietnamese aunt lives in France, and she works at a nail salon owned by a Vietnamese woman. For Chinese people, it's foot massage parlors. You can find countless foot massage parlors owned by Chinese people in American Chinatowns and in European countries. Why do they open the same business, regardless of what country they live in?

It is not the same everywhere. Here in Japan, the only Vietnamese businesses I know of are restaurants. We also have a large Chinatown district in Yokohama and they have many types of businesses. The US government has some very strange laws that contribute to what you are talking about. Your government will give money in the form of grants and loans to foreigners for establishing a business, but they will not do the same for their own citizens. This really stuns me! People from India are taking advantage of this the most, I think. Indian men will go to the USA and get government grants and loans to buy or build motels or convenience stores. They have figured out a system to get them for free! It works like this... They apply for the loans and grants, which are easily approved, then they put their family to work in the business. A large portion of the cost is from a government grant. The rest is a low interest government loan. After 7 years, they "sell" their business to a family member. This relative has applied for the same loans and grants. This process is repeated every 7 years, and it basically works out to where the US government has paid for the business many times over. Chinese and Vietnamese people have figured out their own method to do this, and they probably prefer a certain type of business, like the Indian people do.

In the US, many Chinese people who came to California set up laundromats, because the locals were mostly prospectors, and almost all male, and as per the culture ef the time, didn't know how to do their own laundry. But the Chinese men did, so they used their skills to fill a market need. It's probably similar with other groups and business types.

In the US, there are also many, MANY government grants available specifically to immigrants, and it wouldn't surprise me to learn that some of them are for starting up specific business types- or at least that poople THINK they are.

I know USA Vietnam restaurant people, high-level construction/family Vendor Businesses. I know a work ethic that is of the era of my Grandparents…not typical American gamer brats. Yes, there are trends. I know Phd Pfizer and other PHARMA Vietnamese people.

Yes, they tend to do what they know works and provides better life. Get over yourself if you have issue with that. I’m sure you have prospered because of the cultural attitude

So? I have Vietnamese people in my family who are lawyers and doctors. I know not all Vietnamese people own nail salons, but this is definitely a trend in the US.
