You can think of it in two ways. If more than one group of people can gather together, learn together, and appreciate the good stuff they have to offer, then sure. The other way is that not everyone will always get along. People have different views and values. And some of those people refuse to accept anything or anyone that disagrees. That creates problems.

Do it depends on various factors. There is no universal correct answer.

The video seems kind of unnecessary but my opinion is still the same- it doesn't. People will always prefer to be with them people like them- like them in politics, thought, culturally, etc.. you can divide people by race but any of these divisions doesn't mean people can't socialize and treat eachother normally. The video makes this question seem too race based which usually isn't even the problem, it's some other difference.

But yeah, I was beaten up on my way back from high school. Numerous times I was chased, threatened and namecalled. Later in college, I had some freakshow racists throw an m-80 at me. Working for Loyola, I had the police get called on me for delivering a computer. But several things;

1. My parents dealt with way worse situations. Their lives were threatened on a daily basis for simply voting.
