There are those who cause problems among them, or there are those who really need help. The country's economy is being labeled.
Should they stay in their own country and fight for their country?

I'm all for helping people but I also feel like people should do it the correct way as well. My state specifically is a "sanctuary state". Meaning if you are an illegal alien, we will protect you. If ICE comes after you, we will hide and protect you from them. I don't believe in this. I truly don't. BUT I also have my reasons. Since we became a Sanctuary State 4 years ago we currently have had over 80,000 illegal aliens protected within our borders. They have started forming groups like "adopt a refugee" because there is NO housing for people and they have asked us to open our doors and allow them to live with us until a more permanent solution is found. As it stands currently, our civic center, our state theatre and our indoor ice arenas have been turned in to make shift housing for the thousands of un-homed illegal aliens. I currently work with DHHS as well so I work with a lot of these people face to face and with that comes a whole other aspect of how terrible the situation is currently. For the first year of them living within our state, they are NOT allowed to work. We instead give them $1600 a month in homing cost, a free cell phone per adult (anyone over 16), free healthcare and anywhere from $900-1200 in food stamps depending on the amount of people in their immediate family. During this first year our state also pays for intensive therapy for all individuals and classes so they can learn how to be functioning members of society. We are currently almost $560k over budget and still have that number rising with every single day. After that first year, we help them find work and we income match them for the next 2 years. We offer programs to get them brand new vehicles for a fraction of the cost. We are basically handing everything over on a silver platter and we do not have the resources to do so. But my state is one of the ones who gets all of these people BECAUSE we are a sanctuary state and they are protected here. So like I said, I'm all for helping people but this is way too much. Our homeless rate has gone from 13% to 36% in 4 years and it's not the illegals who are homeless. We have developments being built all throughout our state but the illegals have first dibs.
i will write tomorrow okey wait pls :)
From Türkiye,
80,000 is a low figure. Why? Because my country has received an average of 7-8 million refugees. This figure is 1 in 10 of our population..
respects..
Nah, come over. I wish Canada could let qualified professionals keep their qualifications, or at least have an easier time qualifying here. We're facing shortages in medicine and teaching, it'd be great to let doctors and teachers practice here without having to totally redo their degrees.
I'd say let them challenge whatever tests we have that qualify our homegrown professionals. If they can pass, let them practice. Perhaps with minimal coursework to double check.
The immigration process itself will catch out many would be criminals. And criminals who smuggle themselves in aren't coming from the traditional immigration route anyways.
Birthrates are falling, the global south will have lots of climate refugees. They can escape climate change, join the efforts in my country to undo it (if they so choose), and we get to round out our population.
Win-win-win.
did you mean "Let those who work come"
Nah, bring us everyone.
We offer abortion procedures to medical refugees from the US already.
One should ask themselves this very simple question. Why is our government of country invading other countries and creating wars for their own benefit (ex: Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, etc). There would be no need for refugees to be displaced or moved from one country to the next of war and conflict was not inflicted on their lands. People who read this will say, Islamic extremists took over that country? My rebuttal is, if people understood a religion like Islam they would understand ISIS, Al-Qaeda and other extremist Wahabbi-led groups don’t represent Islam, they go by their own ideologies. Israel is another example of oppression on a group of people.
The United States invaded Afghanistan for over 20 years, it was for oil purposes, then they leave because Al-Qaeda takes over? Please, it’s because the US govt wanted to “save” money in their continued colonial pursuit. One minute American politicians say we want to come to peaceful terms with al-qaeda the next its we need to discipline them, and this has been happening for decades. Saddam Hussein a former dictator of Iraq was someone who smiled and shook hands with previous US officials and leaders. Odd, considering the US views him as an evil man, which he was.
But this system is corrupt, these political ideologies we fight over is BS, and eventually more people will realize what shitty things governments did to other people. It took people over 100 years to realize what were done to indigenous people of Canada as an example. 20 years after 9/11 and the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan and George Bush saying “they have weapons of mass destruction”, they never did, it was a lie to invade and steel oil. If someone had weapons of mass destruction, anyone with common sense should understand any foreign planes flying near a country will bad content would be met with a barrage of missiles right? Any sensible person who has a small hand gun met with an intruder would be shot, correct? Yet people want to buy want a president or prime minister says, that’s brain washing at its finest.
The person who disagreed, you obviously don't understand whats happening in the world and the geopolitical actions going on, the man-made political and social ideologies instilled in the minds of billions for decades. Committing these acts like a game of Risk or Monopoly. Those games aren't out there for fun and games, the world elites and their closest puppets considers this world a board game and we are the chess pieces. When World War III happens it will rattle the hearts of many.
From Luxembourg
Well not to be too harsh but we got many "parasites" here. Our system is broken, if you're refugee you get a lot of help from the government and as you already know if you are too kind to someone they'll become spoiled, and thats exactly happening here. Came to the point that they, as guests in our country, demand us to andapt to them and refuse to integrate or some dont even work or respect our culture. Our politicians want to be seen as heroes by saving as many refugees as they can, thanks to them a nigerian an albanian criminal network installed themself here.
From Türkiye,
Yes, you are so right... Crimes are committed almost every day in my country. And the majority are by refugees. Harassment, fighting, theft... They should go now. Otherwise, it can cause internal conflicts.
I think here its already too late. As soon as you say something you get called "racist" even if just saying "please turn down the music, its 3am"
It doesn't matter :) I'm not racist, I'm Turkish
I ain't a racist as well but people like ho call someone racist as soon as they dont have a valid counter argument
yes of course

Depends. Core matter is whether they're willing to adapt to a new country or not (meaning embrace it culturally, socially and even in terms of religion), work on themselves, learn and develop. If yes, then I don't really see much of an issue.
If not, then they should be never allowed in, as they'll preserve their so-called "culture" (leftists especially, whenever they think of a "culture", think of very shallow and unimportant things, such as food or music that could be under a specific scope interpreted as "better" or as a "good addition"; whether when I think of "culture", I think of much broader things, such as personal liberty, private property, legal institutions etc.) and will eventually become an enclave or so-called "parallel society" that will clash with culture and values of the new country even if their home country will progress further, hence why there were times when (for example) Italians in the US were viewed more Italian than Italians in Italy, or Indians being more Indian than Indians in India. Original country moves on, but their sheltered bubbles in a new country do not.
It gets worse if they try to spread their so-called "culture" in the new country, being completely oblivious as to why they even left their home country, thus pretty much poisoning it with the very stuff that drove their country into shit to begin with that forced them to flee it; they also tend to see reasons as being very simplistic (for example reason being "war", yet never thinking what were the core reasons that drove it to the state of war to begin with). In short, such refugees/immigrants greatly remind a parasite that always seeks a new healthy host whenever an old one dies of the disease a parasite has caused and are oblivious/take offense if you point out their problems are their own fault and that they themselves are a root of an issue.
so you're saying that if they're going to be one of us, let them come.
Yes, pretty much.
I think if people love your country so much then they should gather together countries so you take over their country and repopulate them. Most refugees I met from siria and iraq wanted to go back. Can’t fit the world in one place and as well mixing too much of their cultures changes your home character. People who want to stay should be immigrated legally.
Gets more complicated as environment changes for some areas will not be habitable so we will have to move people and be open.
Big challenges on humanity going forward…
I think now we need to intervene in their country and have a re-election and make sure that they return to their country.
1. Joe thinks that they're all gonna be so thrilled that he's letting them come here AND PAYING THEM to do so that they're ALL gonna vote for him at the next election! Most of them hate him for being such a shitty "president" and are gonna vote for Trump instead!
2. The fact that he's inviting this to happen is racist!! Because of all those illegals coming in, they're gonna be taking our jobs and that gonna keep blacks and other races that were born here from getting those jobs!!
3. Joe and his minions think this is such a wonderful idea but, they don't seem to like it when we start shipping these people to where THEY live to let THEM deal with it!! It's PERFECTLY FINE to let TEXAS deal with it but, for them it's, NIMBY!!
Yes you are right. A situation that directly affects the economy. It directly affects issues such as finding a job, finding a home
@FunkyMonkee
What right way? Do you have any idea what the UN refugee status means, or what are the current laws and practices on earning a refugee status in the USA, let alone other countries? I actually do, so let me give you one tip.
Refugees are not migrants! Having refugees in your country is not the same as giving them a Visa for permanent residence. Running for your life after everything is destroyed and needing somewhere where you don't get killed until things hopefully resume enough normality is very different than chasing the American Dream of old.
You are mixing apples and oranges, and I think what I wrote will go over your head, but I leave it here for those who browse the question, with the official site. Notice how right at the beginning they explicitly state even war or natural disaster do not automatically let you in the USA as a refugee. That's more restrictive than the 40's in some ways...
www.uscis.gov/.../refugee-status
@FunkyMonkee Like I said, over your head and no interest or idea of what is being asked in the question.
I wrote what I had to write already.
Hum, let me think, 🤔 studied International Law, Human Rights, Political Sciences, International Relations, Sociology... No, I know my stuff. Studied it for years. 🤷🏻♂️
Have you bothered to look at the link I provided? Of course not...
Here, take a cookie 🍪. You can tell everyone you won.
The refugees who cause the problems are the ones who are not wanted in their own countries. That’s often why they’re fleeing in the first place.
I saw this video yesterday by an Iranian man who goes by “ImamOfPeace” on Twitter. In it he says that basically we’re importing their trash.
https://mobile.twitter.com/Klaus_Arminius/status/1568949508947546117
i can't see because this computer for the busines. Twitter is not enter sorry :)
Generally we try and take who we can, generally they are welcomed, the issues related to Islam and the west is putting pressure on the Islamic world to figure out ways to solve their issues without conflict, the displacement of people's that have little interest of integrating with other cultures, and no respect for others religions, is a huge problem. Muslims are less likely to be welcomed in the west, which is fair because who wants a next door neighbour who hates you because you are different.
Yes you are right
That has always been my feeling. The United States cannot continue to do this and survive as a unified country, and there is only so much $$$$$. We fight everybody's wars, take in everybody's refugees, and the suffer the consequences. This Administration hopes to be bringing in more and more Democratic, liberal voters to keep the Democratic party in power.
We cannot even care for our own people, let alone bring millions more from ever country on the planet
This is very good :)
"We cannot even care for our own people, let alone bring millions more from every country on the planet"
There is a difference between an illegal alien and what you call a refugee. There are far less refugee's coming to America - some from Ukraine too.
Illegals come in to America by the millions!
True refugee's should be helped. But these millions of illegals need to stay in their own country and build into something substantial where they can help themselves.
The population of Turkey is 84 million. And the average number of refugees arriving in Turkey is 8 million. The population is almost 1 in 10.
I get it, but at the same time, where is the cutoff? This goes back to a question I answered somebody a few months back in regards to resources available and population control to account for local economy, housing and lifestyle. It's not taking them in that's the problem, it comes down to there being no cutoff to adjust for the amount of people accepted to accommodate the new swell of growth.
At some point someone has to say "we can't help. You need to go elsewhere."
i like that ""At some point someone has to say "we can't help. You need to go elsewhere."""
That picture says a lot. Why was this child even conceived if the place where the parents are from is all jacked up? Common sense is that you don't make a bunch of children if your own life isn't stable. If these people are impulsive and don't have any common sense, then what benefit are they going to bring to the host country? The primary reason they're refugees is because they overpopulated their home country and stripped it of it's resources, and now they want to migrate somewhere else? I feel sorry for them, but letting them invade my country is not good for me.
I'll probably hear the argument that they just need to be 'educated', but if all races are supposed to be equal in intelligence, as I'm told, then why does my culture need to educate THEM? If they can't figure this kind of stuff out for themselves, does that imply that they really ARE an inferior race?
We don't have any here.
Unless we speak of ''economic'' refugees from neighbouring countries.
What I think about them... they just seek a safe home, and some regular food. Same as I do.
''Fighting'' is not always an option or even within our reach.
if you are a refugee and you are crowded in numbers, the economy of the country you go to will deteriorate
To my observation - no matter WHICH country (and I've seen it in ''developing countries as well) - the ''locals'' usually feel too 'proud' to do the simple kinds of work. Immigrants - legal or not- don't have such unrealistic expectations. If an economy ''deteriorates'', then more because a ''country'' is lead by greed, corruption, nepotism and such. First, second and third world.
yes you are right.
White countries are the only countries expected to commit Cultural and ethic suicide through excepting mass non white immigration. Our politicians that are supposed to be looking after our best interests but instead sell us out and conspire against us should face a guillotine.
what do you think is the solution?
Call out Censorship and government lies when ever you find them. End white guilt and realize we too deserve to have a culture and ethnicity of our own, Call out that double standard when call a racist. Ask the woke the type of questions they can;t answer with out exposing there hypocrisy and lies.
Setup a Nationalist groups to promote unity amongst our people and show them that they aren't alone.
That is the first step in gaining back power and stopping the mass immergration tide then we can decide how we can deal with the damage done.
I guess that's true. Everyone should do what is necessary in this regard, but no one wants to put their hand under the stone
True it's hard and can even be dangerous. but if we could form social groups you wouldn't need to do it alone and we will be around like minded people, We could draw strength from one another. I don't have anything to loose myself ATM
what is ATM?
At The Moment
I feel for them but everything has a procedure. Do it legally as a lot of folks from other countries are doing it legally so they should get priority over the "cuts in liners".
"
yes, I'm sad too. But a country can't take that many people alone
Agreed. We have our own to take care of. It's sad that our homeless, vets, and elderly get squat while illegals get put up at $700 a night hotels.
The problems are the same in my country. where do you live
Many of these European migrants are Muslims that tell each other that Europe will be theirs soon. Many think European women are whores that don't deserve to be treated with dignity or respect.
Don't the Europeans owe it to their children not to gamble away their future like that?
@findacure4wokeness it is not right for you to judge all Muslims in this way
@justfriendI It's not right for you to decide to let them in and risk the lives of others. We aren't even allowed to investigate how dangerous they are so why take the risk. But many of them are like that anyway. Should I just ignore the evidence as to not offend you?
@findacure4wokeness I'am müslim bro... thank you..
What do you think of the grooming gangs in London? Australia has them too except the media and government covers this up I know a cop here that's told me every second night a white girl comes in saying that some Africans raped them And that area is full of African Muslims.
The good old USA.
@findacure4wokeness I feel the pain bro, I'm half Lebanese half English currently in Bristol, in Lebanon number of refugees is 4M+ to the 4M Lebanese people, imagine that, no wonder our economy just got bounced, and knife crime and supposed "British" criminals, all of them are clearly 2nd or 1st gen African Muslim dudes, let alone their high birth rates compared to ours, 50 years later this is not gonna look good at all, I mean now it's not good we already have londonistan, 50 years from now England won't be England what a suicide
@findacure4wokeness With that white girl thing, a month or 2 ago in Lake Garda in Italy imagine 2000 young Africans were holding African flags and attacked people on the beach and harassed the women there, 2 fucking thousand, would any mainstream media cover that? Of course not fuck no that isn't important, Gary marrying Bill is far more of an international event
@Sandeeppingping I feel sorry for England. they needed to get a good balance between helping others and self preservation and they got it wrong. I've watched videos of rallies and the native English are preparing for war and those Muslims are savages. It's going to get ugly there.
i understand :)
Productive members of society are always welcome. I don't see how a bad refugee is any different or worse than a bad individual who was born here.
Did you mean "Let the good ones come"?
Sure but I also mean there's plenty of bad people born here so why do they deserve a place more than a good person from elsewhere
i see :) but i don't want more people to come
The USA leadership is so schizoid. We left behind thousands in Afghanistan who loyally helped us maintain the so-called peace for 20 years. They remain persecuted & tortured or dead by the Taliban. Yet 3 million unverified illegals any anyone else who can survive wading the Rio Grande are allowed in. As Dark Brandon explains it we do it "because that's who we are." WHAT?
At the same time, Dark Brandon denounces Trump voters as enemies of the State.
I'm fine with the united states allowing women and young girls fleeing who are decently competent (those in the 60th percentile and above). Fathers too, but I don't think the country should accept single men unless they're proven to be high skilled and valuable to a higher standard. Some goes even for regular immigration, the USCIS is too lenient.
Refugees aren't the problem, it's illegal economic migrants that are. Refugees tend to want to return home ASAP
unfortunately, in our country, refugees do not want to return :)
Agree. They are fleeing and trying to escape. I sympathize but one country can't save the world. Each has their own problems.
@DubiousIntentions I absolutely agree. Every country has economic, social and political problems.
They should stay and if that’s not possible they should go to the closest safe country that is the most similar to their own country in terms of culture, ethnicity etc. And when things are safe back in their home countrys they should go back there.
A very correct decision. But they want to come to Europe. For better conditions
If they’re fleeing war then let them in. Most of the refugees from Ukraine are women and children. The men stayed to fight. In contrast to the Syrian conflict all their men fled for western Europe.
YEs you are right. :)
I don't really think about it. As far as I'm concerned they are welcome to seek refuge and have a right to safety and security.
But.. It affects the country's economy and social life badly
No, it actually positively affects the economy.
i'm making an example for you.
8 Million refugees have arrived in my country (Türkiye)
let's assume that 4 people live in 1 house..
8.000.000 / 4 = 2 000 000
2 million housing units will be allocated to them.
And... excess demand means an increase in prices. an economic knowledge
Am i right?
@justFriend they don't understand it my guy, in Lebanon it's the same thing, our population is 4M number of refugees:4M+, look at our economy look at inflation and currency, people don't wanna talk about it though it's crazy
Europe should get rid of its "refugees" and immigrants as quickly as superhumanly possible
@Sandeeppingping ahhhh ahh.. Yes they aren't understand us..
Yes there can be a temporary effect on the housing market but the overall economic impact is positive. Refugees bring in new businesses and replace aging populations, which is incredibly important for the US, in 2015 only 49% of our native born population was of working age whereas 77% of the refugees were. They raise the median income and of course the countries unemployment decreases. While at first the cost of hosting refugees is expensive in the long run the benefits far outweigh the cost. After refugees have been established in the US they’ve paid an average of $21,000 more in taxes than they cost the government.
How many of the refugees who come to your country are starting a business, and how many are look for work. How do you say unemployment is decreasing
13% of refugees are entrepreneurs (only 9% of USA born are)
While 60 something % are unemployed it's not due to lack of trying. Lack of resources, acceptance and opportunity hinder refugees getting long term work. (Aka people like you)
Your last question is kind of silly. As I already explained 77% of refugees are of working age whereas in 2015 only 49% of people born in the USA were. Refugees will look for work, they will take the shitty jobs that other people don't want, i. e. garbage collection, dish washers, maids, fruit pickers.
I have to say. Unemployment does not decrease when refugees come to the country
@Smashingdoozy do you agree with refugees getting nationalities and having right to vote?
AKP li misin kızım sen
@justFriend she isn't turkish though my guy
@Sandeeppingping Erdoğan?
Wait till an illegal immigrant rapes you and you would still welcome them in.
@Sandeeppingping anyone living in a country full time should have a right to vote. The political stance effects them.
@LadiesFavoriteToy we aren't talking about illegal immigrants. Learn to read.
Bad, When my wife use to live in Europe, She was gang raped by refugees
Now im the legal father of a child,
she careied thats not even mine,
They knocked her up and let her go.
It was a MESS getting her here to the states.
Everyone always asks why the kid doesn’t look like me? And why is the kid darker?
So I don't feel sorry for you. Especially because you're trying to use someone you supposedly love as an example.
They do when they become citizens.
@Daniela1982 not everyone wants to go through the process of that or give up citizenship of their home country.
If they don't want to give up their citizenship, then they are not serious about starting life over in a new country and are just here for a free ride on the taxpayer's backs. We got enough sponges here and it is me that is paying for them at the expense of our own homeless, old people, and veterans. Tell you what. Let's send them to your town and you can support them, since you are so for them. I pay enough in taxes in California. I don't need more.
@Daniela1982 if people weren't so prejudice against immigrants then it wouldn't be such an issue for them to get a job and actually HELP the economy. If you wouldn't hire an immigrant and advise others against hiring them then you are the problem, not them. You are the one increasing your own taxes, not them.
A great percentage work under the table and pay no taxes. How does that help us? They are put up in $700 a night hotels. If you pay taxes then that is on you. You may as well invite them to live with you. We don't even do that for our own homeless or homeless vets. Our elderly on fixed incomes are suffering too, but there has been no real raise on Social Security worth mentioning and that doesn't even keep up with inflation. Yet $billions are going to illegals. I bet you voted for Biden too, right? Because you sound like you are for open borders.
@Smashingdoozy that's a dumb decision in regards to the country's interest, why the hell would they make random people that don't belong there their citizens and give them the right to dictate what happens in their country, that's madness
@Daniela1982 citizens also get paid under the table. At a much higher rate. Don't see you complaining about that.
@Sandeeppingping I have no Idea what you are referring to
My country in the last time has a lot of Ukrainians. When in most cases mass immigration is bad for country, because it rises crime rates and can result in creating "ethnic islands" where immigrants do not integrate into the society, then I guess Ukrainians are possibly the best immigrants for Poland, as they have very similar culture and very similar language to polish, so they would be much easier to integrate than f. e. Syrians in 2015.
