What do you think about refugees going to Western countries and being disrespecful to local people?

Today i had an argument with some syrian refugees. They said turkish women are prostitutes because they dont wear hijabi and they DESERVE TO BE HARASSED? My European friends told me that middle eastern refugees doing the same thing in Europe too.

Imagine going to someone else's country FOR HELP, living there tax-free and insulting local people there? Then expecting respect? How?

Religious extremists will do Karen shit no matter where they're from. It's why fundamentalists of every religion should be ignored and carted off to their local bible belts to avoid contaminating regular society.

They're too similar but there is one big difference. Karens can't brainwash people and asimilate others. They can't culturally "invade" anywhere anymore. Muslim extremists can do that agressively. Thats why they are much more dangerous. I think i wouldn't feel unsafe around religious christians bc whats the worst thing they can do? Yell? But religious muslims can be much more violent.

Like I grow up in a country that is called "muslim populated" but i never felt effects of religion in my life before, no one judged me for being non-theist or for the way i dressed. I started to feel unsafe here in last 5-6 years (after 10 millions syrians) and i just feel like it will get worse for all of us.

I don't know, man, Christian extremists in Canada and America are making trans folks unsafe and making abortion and birth control illegal or inaccessible.

Those are just as bad, in my opinion.

One religion's extremists aren't better than another's. They're all fucking assholes. Muslims and Christians even worship the same God, just in different languages, lmao.

well that's just a shitty thing to say and that's not ok. however, I think we as a successful and well developed countries still need to be taking these refugees in, even if they are complete assholes. it sucks but it kind of comes with our status and wealth.

It might be ok for european/western countries bc your states are systematic and disciplined. I don't know if you understand what i mean by that, i felt like my English vocabulary was not enough to describe it.

But my country isn't like that, we already have terrible economic crisis and because of conservative parties in rule, our education system is collapsing. So 10 million refugee with THAT MENTALITY can create huge social problems here. Most of them came here illegaly without any ID. We dont what what kind of crimes they committed before coming here, they might killed or raped people, who knows? And they can walk freely in the same streets with us. Their culture is not even similar to us. Turkish people has 1 or 2 kids, they have 8-10 kids. They can easly asimilate our culture in the future and my country will be unliveable especially for women.

Also even if your states can handle this situation better than ours, I still think you will have the same problems in the future too. These people dont just immigrate, they act like they are "invading" every country they go...
