I'm open to liberalism and conservatism in your opinions. I just want to know what do you think about the negative impacts of refuge and immigration. Protecting the European culture might also be taken as an issue. Refugees are flooding all over Europe such as Germany and Sweden. Do you take sides with protecting the European culture or being open to Islamic influences. My cousin lives in Munich and he's quite an islamophobe actually everyone in my family is it's quite strange to me they don't let me talk to my Muslim friend too. I'm the only open minded person in my family but the refugee influx might create security concerns and conflict between the ethnic groups if there can be a sense of pride in being black then there can no doubt should be a sense of pride being white. I'm no hard left liberal but I am an open minded person and I think all people are equal and can think and do what they want.

I'm generally against mass migration, whether it's legal or illegal. Europe is in no need of immigrants, despite what the lying Liberal media tell us, and I think we should keep our national character as Europeans: our people, our language and our traditions. This is non-negotiable to me.
And I speak as an "immigrant" myself since I'm living abroad, with a work visa and I have wife and kids in this country. But who can tell I'm not native if not by my accent? I can pass as a Swede without any problems. Africans and Asians, however, can't do it because they don't belong to this land. They have lots of countries to live in, so why Europe? Oh, I know... The welfare system! What kind of contributions welfare dependents can make to Europe? Even a better question: why should we consent to let them bring their problems to our countries?
I'm not a corporate capitalist, I don't own a multinational that pays some starvation wages to a bunch of desperate workers, I'm not a Liberal politician who needs to build a voting fodder, so why should I be in favour of mass migration?
I'm not even talking about my opinion on certain cultural differences, which, frankly speaking, is not even the point here.

You're confused. America is a land of European immigrants, it's done fairly well. Europeans immigrated and colonised much of the rest of the world too. Hence most of the world followed them back there.
The bullshit about "immigration" and "refugees" is exactly that - bullshit. The first tenet of a country is to look after it's laws and commitments. That includes looking to the cases of immigration and asylum.
The so called "negative impacts" are not due to the people with problems. They are due to lazy and snollygoster politicians who make issues, and whip up crowds around them to form a vote base for themselves.
No "culture" has ever needed protection. It's in the nature of culture to change with the people and language. There is no proven evidence of refugees "flooding" anywhere in Europe. Most of the issues are down to slow processing and too many meatheads with lots to say about the situation, but not willing to help with their side of the problem.
Also, modern Europe came about because of Islamic influence. Were it not for Al-Andalus and the Muslims destroying Christendom in Europe, you would still be living under Church rule now.
Lastly, most of these security issues are down to police and security services being racist/bigoted against certain groups. Obviously there will be gangs, criminals and nutters who need it. But every society has theirs, but only likes to point out the others groups numbers of them.
The issues are nowt to do with immigrants, and more to do with yellow belly natives getting scared that foreign people will come in, and take their jobs. But actually do them better than they will, and for a smaller price.

Why would they go to Greece or Europe to begin with? There are safe countries, namely Turkey, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Iran right next to Syria and Iraq. If you have to cross multiple safe countries to get to safety, you're not a refugee, you're an economic migrant.

To be honest, I don't think refugees impose a threat to the European culture. Last year, it is said that approximately 123,920 entered Europe in 2019. I don't think that imposes a threat on the 741.4 million people in Europe. The truth is, it's not "millions and millions" coming to Europe like people make out, data shows at most it's a few hundred thousand now you compare those numbers 741.1 million figure- how can refugees as a whole impose a great threat to Europe? If they were a real threat to Europe wanting to "take over" all of them would have to have the want to take over, but all of them don't. And even then, the European population as a whole- which has a large native majority, out numbers them so it would be practically impossible for migrants to come and take over and elimate European culture.
And in 2016, according to Pew research center Muslims make up 4.9% of Europe. So I don't see why we're deemed this huge "threat" that wants to take over or whatever. It's simply illogical to think that a minority of 4.9% can soon outnumber the majority.
And all these people on G@G especially, making points about why refugees are bad- I wonder, have they ever actually met any refugees and gotten to know them? I live and was born in England, there were a few refugees in my year group. I made good friends with a refugee girl from Somalia, and she just wanted to come to school, do her work, have fun with her friends, she had hopes, dreams, aspirations, just like all of us.
Honestly, the majority of refugees are just normal people, born into a shitty situation at no fault of their own and luckily they managed to escape that and they're just trying to get on with life.

I see people on here, often talking about how refugees commit crime, and yes, a number of refugees do commit crime, it's not right.
But why is it, when a refugee commits a crime everybody is disgusted and outraged, but let's say someone who is ethnically European commits the same crime, yet nobody puts empathsis on the fact that the person is ethnically European. Why is it, when someone who is not ethnically European commits a crime, we look at their ethnic background, but when somebody is- we don't?

Immigration is natural. Life was said to have started in Africa, technically, everyone in a place that isn't Africa is an immigrant. We all came from somewhere.
So to say that somebody doesn't belong in a particular part of the world, whether it be Europe, Africa, Asia, America, Ocieana, etc- is simply ridiculous in my eyes, because immigration is no new thing, it's been happening for thousands and thousands of years.
If you have enough money to pay 1000-3000€ for a trip, I don't think you're a refugee or poor little person. There is already an immigration process so why bypass it and why is this still tolerated? A lot of migrants don' bother adapting to the culture and they prefer to spread their own deprecated culture that is incompatible with Western values. Just look at how they treat women for example or all the riots they have done (and I'm not even talking about the criminality).
This lack of adaptation to the local culture then creates many divisions and a lot of insecurity in the medium term and I think it's very dangerous since it gives more ways for politicians to divide and conquer people.
I firmly believe that they should stay in their country to make it a better place to live for them, for their family and for their fellow citizens because they won't find the gold they hope to find here in Europe.
Against. We can't be the shelter of the world. If you import third world people, you turn into the third world. Especially if you put such a giant strain on a countries infrastructure and finances.
Though, it is mostly political anyway. There's a reason why so many of those are given better treatment than for example the elders who built up the country, how they get the pass so quickly so they can vote (importing voters should be treason), etc.
The worst about it is. I am not even per se against Refugees, but it needs to be strongly controlled. Control the origin of the people and what they are fleeing from (so you don't have masses of former ISIS and such coming in), have a clear upper limit, make their stay conditional (=learning the language, doing social services such as cleaning the cities they stay at, etc). And last but not least - the moment their country is safe again, get them the fuck back out.
Europe belongs to Europeans and as such they have every right to control immigration. I believe that is why UK want to leave , so that they retained that right.
Immigrants should assimilate into the host country's culture. If they try to change the host country then the citizens of that country have every right to push back on them.
Immigration can be very positive and beneficial for both sides if it is done right. Leftist countries that bend over backward for immigrants at the expense of their own citizens are idiotic. and should be overthrown. They will be eventually, either by the immigrants who are encouraged to run amok or by the native citizens who want to preserve their country and culture
On my opinion you can have a welfare state or open borders, but not both. You need to only invite people from other countries, who are willing to work and integrate in your culture. You do not invite just anyone and then provide them with free benefits, payed by taxpayers. Otherwise you'd get millions of people trying to get in for free stuff (and that's actually happening, human traffickers in Africa promise people they'd get free stuff in Europe and take their money for transportation). You also want to educate them on your culture and values, because those lead to creating Europe, so they most probably are necessary to keep it running. It's a complicated matter of policy and culture, so I'm amazed when I see people being like "Just let everyone in, whatever!".

Are they willing to adapt to the culture and customs of the country they are fleeing too? If you can answer "yes" to these 3 questions, I'm all for it, otherwise its a no brainer, an absolute no!

Personally i hate religion and while some of even many of these refugees might be perfectly ok, they aren't all ok and we are being harmed by allowing them to cross our borders.
I dont dont think that opening the door is the answer, we should be acting to solve these problems at the source though i suspect that in at least some of the cases we are probably a casual factor, we tend to do a lot of dark side shit around the world.
I am open to immigrants, the few immigrants that come to Europe won't affect us at all.
I rather welcome them with open arms, than being held in concentration camps and being used by Erdogan to held us hostage to further increase his power.

I don’t live in Europe but I do visit yearly where I go almost every year Syrians, iraqi’s , Pakistanis Coming over in boats load both sides Turkish side few have the refugees spend a lot of money sail middle of waters between Turkey and Greece dropped in middle of the Aegean. Then Greek Coast Guard pick them up. The Turks tell them they be put into taxi and taken to Athens. Some of the refugees burning churches.
If long-term immigrants/asylum seekers just learn the language (they should get help with this), get a job and just live in the same society as everyone else, I don’t mind it at all
I think it's fine as long as they assimilate with our culture. I dont think eastern culture mixes well with ours and it can be damaging to everyone involved.
